No its not, me and my made tried the speaker in currys, all the size, only decent one the big one. But bose (and am not a fanboy of them) even the small one sounded so so much better and honestly i was surprised when i heard it

You cannot compare speakers in Currys. It's a massive open shop with background noise. Nothing like the room you will more than likely use the speaker in. The small Bose doesn't tend to get good reviews.

I know, but even then i was shocked to hear the difference, these speakers are basey but vocal is muffled compared to the bose my mate showed me... We both are sound enthusiast so were always listen to products like Monitor audio, klipsch, kef. Cambridge audio,... Regardless you go check the speakers yourself even in currys and youll easily recognise the difference, av attached a picture of the small one, we heard and there all really good of that range, not heard there other ranges

I have the Wonderboom and the vocals are not muffled. I've been into hifi for over 20 years and I know that you cannot to a decent listening test on the Currys shop floor.

Is the Bose not at least twice the price?
Thing is people would want this type of travel, outdoor speaker for that....and not indoors.. Nice to have both types.
I'm sticking with the anker motion which I ordered yesterday....youtube reviews seem ok.

That doesnt make sense for several reasons;

1. You cant exactly take the speakers with you to test in a room like you will use it in, besides its your unique room.
2. How do you know the size of the Currys the person tried them in or if indeed it was busy?
3. The "test" was conducted under the same conditions for both speakers so while I agree its not ideal, you could still make a general call that one has a greater vocal frequency response than the other.

On balance both speakers may be fine to an average listener for their use cases. I suspect audiophiles who would care about acoutics and ambience would avoid using bluetooth speakers in this range entirely.
Price gone up to £47.70 now.

Curries is going to be a lot larger than you average living room.
Also a quick test in a shop where volumes aren't matched is not a good way of comparing speakers.
Typical! Price went up to normal again ( £47.70)
