You'd have to be mad in the head to attempt this yourself

... includes cutter and smoother ...

Splendid. All they need to do is include the fitter as well.

soooooo easy to fit

Might give this a go

Not as hard as one might think, only challenging part is the rear window because of the curvature (heat gun needed).

Nice....

you ain't wrong there...unless you're a West Ham fan and just love "bubbles"

Brilliant on the windscreen. It's like driving at night everywhere

There'll be less bubbles in a box of Wispas...

Has to be done in a dust free environment (i.e. almost impossible), as even if you manage to avoid bubbles there'll be bits of dust that will form their own bubbles (bit like on a mobile screen)

Agree with others these are a nightmare to fit.

Voted hot for the price though as would be fine for a works van or estate car used as a workhorse where a few bubbles wouldn't bother you.

You do get custom cut tint for cars on eBay they would be slightly easier as they don't involve cutting but bubbles would still be there.

It really isn't that hard. Just use plenty of soapy water. There are loads of youtube tutorials to show you how to do it!:)

Oh it is really that hard, just chuck your money at some sunglasses and pretend you have tinted windows

This is simple to use, I've just done the bottom half of my living room windows with it as I'm fed up with folks staring in my house as they walk past during the day when the blinds are open. Now I can see out ...............but the nosy folk can't see in ....brilliant

Just soak the window with soapy water squeegee it out from the middle outwards and you're done ......should take around half an hour.

Is this stuff legal

anyone know if these meet the legal requirements? I dont want issues with the fuzz again!

Just make sure you declare it to your insurer and don't apply anything to the front windows that allows less than 70% light through

I'd you can get your glass out easy/know how to, do it... makes life much easier.

Easy if you watch the Youtube videos and take your time and use some soapy water - I did my Wife's windows on her Toyota Prius and it came out better than having a window company "do" my windows on my 535d - which I eventually got a full refund because of the poor job.

You have little to lose - it keeps the heat down in the car in the summer - thus saving you money as you don't use your air-con as much!

Should be fine for your rear windows as there is no legal requirement on the minimum amount of light let through. Its advertised as a rear window set so I wouldn't put it on your front/front side windows

I'm looking for something like this for roof windows. See if room stays cooler and stops carpet fading. May try it on one as proper stuff cost 10x this price

Completely legal on rear windows - after all you can legally drive a van which has no rear windows at all.

On front and side windows there is a legal limit which this kid will almost certainly breach.

good price but it is NOT easy to fit at all

Why? It's a piece of peace.

i have done a few, yes rear window is the hardest. just make sure you clean glass with meths, drink the rest and you are on your way. have a spray bottle of soapy water and make sure you spray your glass, the tint and hands too so much easier that way.

I paid £120 to get a cmax done professionally. although this is extremely cheap I think it will look like **** all.
probably do boy racers on a budget

watch out for the rozzers, oh yeah you can't

I look forward to a professional finish on my £200 car.

You do know there are different wavelengths of UV light?

It completely went over your head..

This will be a fantastic add-on for the Amazon alloy buyers - just need an exhaust tip and stick on bonnet scoop to complete the look

do not put in front of b pillar in car.
other word after the front door is legal

This is like wearing sunglasses indoors

might be hot for someone who likes bubble bath... heat added

Do they increase the premiums if you fit this?

This is not difficult at all to do. There are tricky parts, such dot matrix around the edge of some glass and heat shrinking on curved glass such as clios, but don't write yourself off if you haven't attempted it before. Some of the well made video tutorials really are helpful. At least if it doesn't work out, you can just peel it off. It wont ruin your car!

Depends on insurer, may be around £10-£25 from my experience
