these are okay only one has a spoiler, lasted about 10-12 months, but home bargains sell a set for about £5 that in my opinion are a better investment

What's the difference between the normal 50% brighter headlight bulbs and the Xenon? Guess Xenon are brighter or perhaps the same as the 50% brighter but much brighter then normal headlights
I know other drivers may find them annoying and blinding but just wondered

I bought a pair of the Xenon today, first store I went into just after 9am and the shelves had been cleared out completely... oO

The xenons from what I gather are more of a whitish/blueish light, the +50 I bought a few years ago and found them quite good and bright, they also lasted a while and the light although not pure was just off white and was way different from the standard yellow halogens.

The extra life bulbs I can't say much about but would imagine they would be somewhat more like usual halogens - they certainly had loads of them left, but only a few Xenons, and a bit more +50 in the H4 type - but still quite a few H7's.

EDIT:

The point you made about the lights blinding others drivers - this is more to do with HID lights (High Intensity Discharge) which cars like Range Rover, Jaguars, Mercedes, BMW etc have fitted to them and don't use filament bulbs such as these. They produce a very bright directional light which is what I think you mean?
