I want a place to build guitars, it's not the same doing it in whatever space I can find and having to order cut parts, as opposed to having my own space and kit. There's only so much I can do. TBF I don't think I'd leave a workshop if I had one

Don't be jealous of any one or any thing, just keep your dreams alive, keep doing what your doing and enjoy.

Heat from me. It’s on wheels so you can move it around/take it with you when you move!
This costs more than my garage
This looks beautiful! Would be the envy of all DIY dads

Having recently bought some expensive garage racking from Homebase that arrived damaged, I can say their customer service has been terrible.
There is huge potential for something like this to pick up transit damage, I would suggest buying from somewhere that will sort out any issues is more important than price.

Had a garage that wasn't fit for purpose, leaking roof etc. Demolished it and had a workshop built well worth it if you have the space.

I prefer a real man's bench that can take a proper beating and still not flinch... ebay.co.uk/itm…ile
These flat pack jobs just look pretty.
I bought in to the Machine Mart similar to this about 13 years ago with wheels. Cost me over £1k. It's a struggle to move it when it's fully loaded with tools. Mine hasn't moved for 12 years. I only bought it to keep my tools safe from my children. I'm not sure this is completely lockable. The drawers don't appear to have ball bearing runners.
I would have a look in person at this and then compare the machine mart comparative or second hand Snap-on

To be honest I've not seen one of these style stainless cabinets in-store that didn't have fairly significant damage.. not just a ding or two. Impact damage, maybe not packed well enough.
This is worth more than my car and garage put together!
I would suggest popping into a homebase FIRST, to see in the flesh first...
I saw(same ones? when Homebase was Bunnings)...quality looked a bit sus...IMHO...
Kinda think "Fugazy" idea for kitchen probably about right..a few of these, WOULD look great in any mans kitchen...along with a dishwasher(obviously) for cleaning up bits of engine/gearbox.. lol

This ones not flat pack. It comes fully assembled
On the listing it just says delivery within 14 days. That's a bit too vague considering I do shift work. Has anyone had anything large delivered? How does the delivery arrangements work and what company do they use?

Yes several large racking units for the garage, it took longer than 14 days - more like a month
The items were delivered to a local store who then sent them out on their own lorry
You would think that would be enough to keep them in good nick but it wasn't

I was thinking along those lines too, a kitchen is a great place to build stuff because it has a sink and a kettle. Whoever inherits my house is going to rip out any IKEA tat that I'd put in anyway.

This is no good for me though, I'd need a vice
Edited by: "horsey" 20th Oct 2019
Did anyone end up ordering? If so what sort of lead time have they provided for delivery? I was hoping if I placed an order today if they'd realistically deliver during my next 4 days off (before Sunday)
You'll need another tool kit of tolls to put this together

This looks really good. I noticed they do a bigger and smaller one too incase this size isn't right.
Wow, can you use it as a kitchen?

Everytime I do that sort of thing. The kids always do something that makes me wish I'd been selfish.

Bought my son fifa 20 for xmas. He kept going on about how much he wanted it. So I caved in gave him in it and asked for good behaviour in return.

About a week later came in from work and caught him eating a tub of hero's that were for xmas.
I need this to store my tape measure and handful of screws.
