excellent deal hot

They are been slow with the role out, only a smallish part of the city covered at the mo....I'm waiting in YO26

Surprised that people are taking services off talktalk after their 400k fine not long ago for personal details that got stolen last year

Wish this was in my area.

People still buy Playstations after multiple PSN hacks, Adobe is on most PC's even after a massive hack, LinkedIn is still used by a lot of people after being hacked, UbiSoft too, Apple have been hacked a few times - to be honest, it would be a shorter list detailing who hasn't been hacked. oO

In the scheme of things, the TalkTalk hack was quite small compared to the likes of the MySpace and Yahoo hacks.

Nice page here ... informationisbeautiful.net/vis…ks/

My yearly prepaid contract is about to end this month with TT and Im hoping to renegotiate a new Fibre optic deal. This would be nice though Im not in York. I dont quite need the NASA speed.

I wouldn't touch talktalk with a bargepole. The last time I was with them they were appalling. I switched over to Sky and as much as I dislike them as a company, their tech support has been good and the internet has been solid.

I get 3/4 calls per week from scammers claiming to be talk talk. They are stupidly relentless. The only way to stop them is to change my number. Some elderly people have been duped out of thousands. My mother got her pc locked (had to reinstall windows).

Rather die than deal with TalkTalk ever again

Hyperoptic has 1Gb (1,000Mbps) broadband £15/m for 9 months then £47 for 3 plus line rental, just remember to use 1GB on one divice it will need to be connected via cable wifi will not handle 1Gb

Its more scary that it was a 12 year old who talk talktalkoO

LOL, I can't make Virgin to lay fibre cabling in my estate to allow me using this goodie... since 2 years I'd put it myself 100 times or more for free, if they only wanted ;-) It's just 40 meters away from other street which is cabled already. Shame on you, Virgin.

Maybe worth moving to York for, if you want bragging rights for speed like that - I mean, it's a lot less hassle than moving to South Korea (another place where I think they have those sort of speeds!)

I have it and the wifi is crap keeps dropping out all time think it's the box but not been replaced, wish I'd stayed with virgin had it since June worse luck so another 14 months with them

Talk talk are increasing all there prices from December this yr so if you do take anything off them ask for it to be locked in so means no price increases for 18 months. Also worth noting all contracts are 18 months including adsl

After years of being a loyal TT customer I have finally decided to leave. They are going the same way as what Cable & Wireless did before they lost all their customers - once signed up they will start offering less and charge more for the renewal of contract. Also TT have no clue as to what customer service is all about.

Try the "cable my street" page on their site and try to encourage as many residents beside you to do the same, you never know.
