Not hating on Nintendo but that is a crazy price for essentially a really old game. Cold.

EDIT: For those hard-hearted Nintendo fans, I've owned a Wii, multiple DS, 3DS and older systems. The company makes some great first party games but for the Switch, it is getting a bit crazy now. I mean 1-2 Switch is £40...forty pounds for essentially a tech demo...Nah son, ain't happening.

Nintendo's prices are atrocious. No Switch for me.

They continue to get away with it so they'll continue to mug people off.

This should be a digital game for £7.99 at most.

has anyone actually tried to use the direction buttons to play a fighter? I downloaded a few from the e-store and its effing impossible to pull off any decent combos or specials on these joy-cons, they really need to release a joy con with a D-pad.

Finally someone who understands Nintendo's scheme!

I bought a 2ndhand 3ds XL and had SSF4 for a fiver new from Argos last year, far far better game and I still play it regularly. Good luck selling that one.

Hopefully this will be somehow optimised for the joycon sticks or it's pointless. It's too soon to ask people to spend on another set of alternative specialist Joycons with twin D-Pads. As soon as Mariokart and Splatoon are out, and stuff like this and Bomberman has to fight for it's place in your collection instead of preying on the release-starved post-Zelda rehab patients, the prices will hopefully become a little more palatable.

This should be a tenner and digital only at best

Agree this is overpriced for an old game but people saying that Nintendo has a 'scheme' or that they are the ones pushing the shady practises in the gaming industry is rich in a time where day one DLC, season passes, paid online et al have been allowed to become the norm. Nintendo are late to the party with most of those things compared to the competition

Good LORD Switch games are expensive. I'm looking less and less likely to get one if this continues.

Anyone paying this for an ancient game with a few tweaks is a complete mug.

Please tell me this is appearing on other formats...

Ha!

this is the reason I'm getting a switch. played a lot of HD remix on the 360 but community died after usf4.
i hope Nintendo bring a bundle with Street fighter art on the box

Guys this is crapcoms choice to charge that amount. Not nintendo.

this game price has nothing to do with nintendo, its only has to do with capcom trying to make more money from everyone

Boomshaw

Shh don't ruin it for them

After all the superhypermegaduper edition releases of street fighter enough is enough. I don't need to play SF2 again, it's had its day. Maybe as it's not a first party launch title it will hit rock bottom price wise in 3 years or so. Might pick it up then.

Nice try Cashgone, maybe next time!

Not quite so black & white it seems, Nintendo charge a lot for the carts compared to ps4/X1 disks and they enforce digital pricing to be the same as physical. Source: eurogamer.net/art…ive

Doesn't explain why there are no dirt cheap eShop-only titles.

Moans about constant SF2 interations and that they don't want to play it again. Yet still clicks on a deal with Street fighter in the title. Superb.

Purely to join in the fun of the predictable backlash against the game and its developers I assure you. I have no intention of owning another Street Fighter game any time soon, not after what happened with the last one. I suppose we'll be getting an "updated" version of the turd in a box that was SFV at some point sooner or later though, that we will of course have to pay out of the bumhole for.

Damn
I was actually expecting this to be at least £25
I'll still pre-order it just incase this is the lowest

It's scary the amount of street fighter games I own. I'm still crap at it. If I had a switch I'd buy this.

Bloody expensive for an enhanced port of a almost 10 year old game which in turn is a port of a 20+ year old game. Nintendo must be charging allot of money to the Developers for these cartridges if the prices are so high....but considering how much heat Switch items is getting I'm guessing there are plenty of people willing to get ripped off by Nintendo.

That is alot of money for a ROM

Its not a rom.. its not* a HD remake, it'll feature more when released. 2 on 1 battles. Online matches. Two player on the move. Extra characters. It would be better for people to know and understand a new release before slatting it.

Do some googling, some research, maybe some reviews online youtube has a few.

Some people seeing this will assume you know your stuff.. it then becomes the blind leading the blind.

An item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If your pockets are shallow. Don't let that mean your going to moan about it, and put others off.

The internet has a lot to answer for and a lot of it not good. Sad times.

I will be buying and will be enjoying this!

Edit - Any Street Fighter fan will be hyped by this! I'm looking forward to it.
