Better off with a laser measurer rather than a sonic if you need accurate measurements - but its a cheap price

Im an estate agent - these were banned years ago in our business

Would be happy to find a decent cheap laser one - but then I guess the two words decent and cheap do not go together lol

Have a look for a Skil Xact. They are about £70 and very good. Had one for 5 years and very happy with it.

Here's one
few threads have vanished today - there was one about a safe earlier....gone!!! assuming stolen
Although it's a fair price for the measure... I would stay away from ultrasonic ones. Hold it still, measure a known distance, move it, measure the same again and the reading will be different.

Buy a laser measure.

May be a fair price but next to useless if you want any sort of accuracy which makes it cold.

I'm not suprised.... niether an estate agent or an ultrasonic measuring device will give an accurate response
So what about the Multifunction Detector - any good?

probably a duplicate then, so would be pulled.
Did anyone buy one of these? I did, and it's going back for a refund. The first one was changed for another, but that's just as bad.

Utterly useless for anything more than a couple of metres away - every reading you get seems different.
