The bench is a bit wobbly but if you're happy with that the price is good.

looks good. heat

anyone had one like this?

it's awful small and unstable

The reviewers all paid double, £64 and may most say its o

Bear in mind if you want to use a barbell you'll need something extra to hold it. Normally cheap benches like these come with the holders

also maximum load 100 kg.I'm not clear if that's the users weight + extra weight

Hope the Amazon gift card deal is still on. Since I was eligible I could have an extra £10. Still thinking if it's worth buying. Could anyone suggest weights that can be bought together?

very interesting point...

As mentioned you would need something to rack the barbell if you intend to to do bench press. However if you are on your own I advise just doing dumbell bench press, it's safer until you can build some safety rails.
Here's mine using 30 quids worth of wood. http://postimg.org/image/rwawlrr5p/

Just to state the obvious, all exercise equipment is faddy so sells well on ebay. I'd keep your money and buy something off there.

I definitively wouldn't spend any extra money on top of this bench, it would be pointless given that the maximum weight is so low

That looks dangerous to me, look how narrow the legs are, if you try to lift any weight and unbalance slightly you and the lot are going to tip over. Plus the 100kg weight limit is ridiculous.

It will finish as cloths hanger or garage decoration anyway.

gumtree for me :-)

yeah a lot of people but this stuff & never use it.
Just a word of advice, if you can get cast iron weights they will hold their re-sale value. But I wouldn't pay any more than £1.50 per kg for 2nd hand cast iron
also if you have Tesco vouchers you can sometimes boost them & get weights at £1 per kg :-)

Avoid, I have a very similar one and it's too wobbly to do anything with. You get what you pay for.

Search for: maximum load

Bargain. Gift it to your husbands so they can have a tragic accident.

You get rid of an annoying partner without the messy divorce, and maybe even get a claim in against the manufacturer.

Toy boys here you come!

ended up buying the York 1001 for £30 at eBay. Fairly good condition. Now it's time to do some work in the garden to accommodate the beast...
