The £20 price for this is rather laughable.

65mph before it turns inside out? Really? I can turn this inside out in less than two seconds.

Cheap handle. Cheap plastic "chrome effect" insert installed within.

Nice packaging. That's about all of the positives really.

That reassuring rattle/looseness in the handle as you walk up the street, quality craftsmanship right there.

I got this for £8 or something in a flash sale.

Don't bother, get one in Primark.

The reviews on here would lead you to believe that this is the best umbrella in history.

I'm bitterly disappointed with this product. However I'm not surprised, good umbrellas cost a lot more. However, umbrellas as good as this cost a lot less. I get the feeling that one is paying for the packaging. Reassuringly expensive and all that.

Decide for yourself, but don't pay the £20 asking.

If I lost this on a train tomorrow, or in a restaurant, I wouldn't lose sleep.

I had high hopes for this product. It arrived beautifully packed and looked very presentable. Upon inspection the attention to detail on the umbrella is impressive and it comes with a neat zipper case to store the umbrella in.

Practically, it fails to operate as an umbrella, it broke within 10 minutes of using for the first time resulting in me being soaked and pretty disappointed with an umbrella that was now bent out of shape. If this can’t withstand its claim of moderate winds (20-30mph) in its first test under such conditions, I don’t hold much hope for it lasting longer term - it’s junk and I’m returning it to Amazon for a refund. Save your money and buy a better brand.

I know its not an iphone

50 5 star reviews.
2 1 star reviews.
hmm, seems like this is worth a punt. If it breaks, as the 2 1 star reviews might suggest, then It's under guarantee.

Not sure why this has been marked as expired as I’ve just bough one using the discount code.

Thanks OP, needed something small for my work bag.

Most of the 5 star reviews will be from people who received it for free,in exchange for a totally impartial, glowing 5 star review.

As far as I can see that most of the positive reviews are from verified purchases, but both negative reviews ...are not. I'd assume that the negative reviews are fake actually.

Darren (He does like his umbrella's though) the first negative review is real as he has 52 reviews but A L has only this one.

P.S. Darren says it's for his son too keep dry, I think it's more he has some kind of fetish as nobody can need that many umbrella's/

I also would think that but after reading fakespot analysis ive changed my mind

For the record, my umbrella arrived today and I’m very pleased with it. If I can get another for £12 I will buy for a present.

Solid, strong, heavier than I expected, larger than I expected. Feels good quality.

It hasn’t rained yet, so it might leak, but I doubt it.
