Just had an email from Banggood, looks like a lot of phone for the money, I've had BangGood pay TCB when I've used them before so there's a good chance you might get it even though you are using a code.

The code is plusexmas

Would love to have a go on this to see what it's like compared to my Z2 with 4GB and an 820 processor!

As always you could get stung for import duties and if you get unlucky with a faulty phone it will be a nightmare getting it resolved in terms of cost of shipping, wasted time and poor experience compared to buying a phone from the UK high street.

I've never had a DOA phone or had to pay import duties having bought a lot of phones from China but probability dictates someone has to have these problems and it could be you!

Just seen this thread for GearBest which is now expired, really useful comments on there about the phone.

I've been looking out for this phone. Definitely worth that price no doubt but I can't pull the trigger to buy until I see a decent video on how it works.

may just risk it.

I have the UMI super, excellent phone for price however the camera's are awful so bear that in mind. You'd get better pics from an iPhone 4.

The only way you end up with import duties is if its sent via a courior. With air mail the chance of being lumbered with import charges is basically zero.

I've had 2 Umi phones, no support, no warranty, 6 months to get a replacement after the first was faulty out of the box - and the replacement broke 1/2 hour after unboxing.

Walk away.

If you want a decent Chinese phone, buy a Xiaomi, reliable, and long term firmware support, my 3 y/o HongMi Note still gets updates.

Well, I've had UMI Super for 2 weeks. At first it seems a good handset, but GPS and Bluetooth range were terrible, same with camera.
But the support were great, I've send it back and got full refund plus shipping costs 2 days later. Only difference was that I've bought it in official UMI store @Aliexpress. So if someone want UMI get it there. Other thing is that 6GB for P20 CPU is a bit overkill, something like Ford Mustang with 1.0 Ecoboost engine...
