Insane price for those specs. You wouldn't be getting much on the high street for that.

That's a new type of crystal called Cryscal
Is the battery as good as on a Xiaomi Redmi? That's the only reason I'm sticking to Redmi, the battery does like 44 hours combined use on a charge and that's a godsend.
My wife's Umidigi S2 pro phone screen went all pixelated after 15 months( and it may be an isolated experience). Hopefully not a regular thing for Umidigi. Anyone had a similar occurrence?

I wouldn't be too surprised considering some of the names these companies come up with

I haven't personally used this phone so I can't say for sure. However the processor is fairly efficient and it's a good size battery so I would expect 2 days moderate use. Have you checked reviews online?

That battery looks decent. And no issues with amazon.Nice spot.Shame not USB C though.
Yeah I got one previously from a "China" website banggood or gearbest cant remember which but it came unsealed and had some added software hhmmm so sold it on gumtree

Brought one from Amazon off "Official Umidigi" store and it didn't look like proper Umidigi seals they looked bigger and it had a different set of added software hhhhmmm found out that the Official Umidigi store on Amazon isn't in China but UAE/Kuwait so that went straight back to Amazon.

Got one off Ebay in the UK cost lot more but had genuine Umidigi seals and no dodgy software, yippee been used as my wife's work phone for 3 months now and she cant fault it.

If you pay with PayPal or credit card generally you will be covered. I have ordered from Gearbest, Coolicool and DealXtreme with no issues. I've always paid for the shipping insurance too as it's normally only like £2

But I know some people may think it too risky and that's fair enough

Overall would you and wife recommend Umidigi?

What's meant by EU GSM / Not EU GSM?

The Non EU one probably won't come with Google Play Store and possibly different 4G bands. If you live in Europe you want to get the EU version
Is this not the normal price?
I got one on pre-order before release for less.

Ours is decent with the odd glitch. Some people had camera or sim issues.

It's the cheapest price for this phone right now. The pre order price was a special price for pre orders, £73 I think..?. This is the lowest I've seen it since

3.8 gb of ram on mine. Is it full HD, don't know, how do I check? Had mine for several months now and for what I paid its excellent. Never lags, although I don't play heavy use games. Camera seems to improve on each update, no NFC but who cares. Very recommended.

Go to YouTube app and search for a 4K or full HD video. Whatever the max resolution it lets you play it at is the max resolution of the screen. Alternatively you could download Aida64 from the Play Store for device info. Should have it in there.

Good to hear you've been getting updates

Sound. Like I say it's a really easy to use phone, certainly the best Chinese phone I've had and the cheapest. I paid just £73 for mine.

The price for what you're getting is deffo good. If it had a picture of a half eaten apple on the back it would cost 3 times as much .

I think it would make a good works phone for people as you can use 2 sims and Micro SD at the same time.

£73 was the special pre launch price, right?
What's the battery life like in your opinion?
Edited by: "AndersJ" 30th Oct
Battery life is good, might lose a couple percent overnight. I do use greenify too. Daytime I'm quite a heavy user as I use it for work so I drain it quickly, which doesn't bother me so much as it fast charges. I have read of others with battery problems but honestly I haven't noticed anything wrong with mine.

Greenify is a cool app. Especially if you have root access. Thanks for your feedback bud

Camera is average but very acceptable considering the price.
Bloat free and everything just works.

Yeah, stopped using them after a few issues and being strung along.

Did you use PayPal or credit card? I ordered from them once with no problems, but I still used a credit card for that extra bit of insurance. Obviously this is under £100 so credit card companies wouldn't have to refund you if there was a problem, but I think PayPal still would

It was a few years back now and usually lower priced items.

I started getting more problems than my initial orders and then things were not turning up... Answer was always wait, wait longer, keep waiting etc. Can't recall the payment method used now but nothing over or approaching £100.

Might have changed now, but just like Tom Top they are on my "do not buy" list.

Tom Top, are actually worse in my experience. Every single order was "not as described/advertised"
