Looks good. Cheapest bezel less phone, I've seen. Got the dreaded MTK in it though!

Only shows how overpriced big brand stuff is
I was really interested in this until the reviews started to appear, now not so much.
I had the UMI Rome it got two small updates to fix bugs and then nothing since, plus they said the phone had various features in the technical specifications and when I received the phone it turned out it hadn't got them for example micro USB charging port instead of the USB-C port they stated, 2 points of touch on the screen instead of the stated 5 points of touch and a 1300 mAh instead of a 2500 mAh battery which was the worst thing as after 90 minutes of usage the phone had around 5% of the battery left. I personally wouldn't buy another UMI phone again I would rather get a Xiaomi phone instead.
Got this delivered yesterday, was rather disgruntled when I opened the selfie camera up and a message popped up on screen saying you must turn the phone upside down to use the selfie camera.
Why bother putting the screen right to the top of it means you have to turn the phone upside down just to take a pic with the stupidly placed selfie camera?

Sounds to me like you bought a fake; it happened to me once, a generic phone made to look like a Lenovo P700.

I have had two Umi phones, they were crap, but the specs matched what was advertised - they just broke being taken out of the fancy box. (GPS dead on the first, SIM slot failure on the 2nd). Seriously, out of two phones I got less than 30 minutes of full use.
I had a Uni Max until I dropped in toilet last week. I loved it and would have purchased another if they were sensibly priced. Gone for Xiaomi Note 4 instead. My Max got update to 7, but months after it was supposed to. Dropped a few times, no problem. Only issue is occasionally the finger scanner would keep tripping, needing reboot. Ive since read lots of bad reviews of Umidigi but I was happy.

It wasn't a fake as I bought it directly from UMI themselves on pre order they changed the specifications and didn't tell anyone. I've since read a few reviews and other people have said the same as me they are well known for over inflating the specifications prior to release and when they release the product the phones have inferior components inside. Here is a link regarding them lying about battery capacity.

ok Thanks, I must have been both lucky to get the advertised spec - and unlucky that it was assewmbled by a 2 year old.
Is this still a good deal if you have to pay customs and import duties since it comes from China?
Thanks
