Heat for price, but UmiDigi aren't the best for updates or bug fixes they would rather move on a release a new model of phone.
It's got a Helio P70 processor too, so not a complete joke of a thing to go with the specs.

If you're OK with slightly non existent support, that's a cracker of a device. Basically a Larger screened Honor 20 but a worse processor but less than half the price.

To be fair I have the F1 Play and it's had four updates in the few months that I've had it.

You have been lucky then, my previous phone had one update as soon as I had bought it then nothing for the 18 months I had it. They may be better now I don't know.

Same as the A5 Pro which has had 3 or 4 updates.
Be aware that at its normal price this was slightly overpriced. But factor in 6.5% cashback and this is great value at under £140 for everyone.

The lower resolution Umi X is exactly the same offer price, Amoled and an advanced under screen fingerprint reader being the attraction.
Do you want to forgive the iPhone 11 like screen resolution in order to have OLED?

Their low end offerings almost always got zero updates, it may only being recent that their mid range now get (some?)updates.
I just noticed how idiotic this place has become/always was.
This got to 240+ at a price of £206.35.

All down to 'followers' I guess. This would be 1000+ with the same poster.
Heat for price and specs. Can’t go wrong at this price

i had my "One Pro" for a while now and had a few updates
Probably worth paying 20 quid more for the mi max 3?

I’d agree, these off-brand Chinese phones always end up being a huge disappointment for one or more reasons.

Yup. I had the uhans max 2. Awful
Got F1 play, battery is awesome lasts all day, had one update a month. Would I buy another one, probably not, problems with fingerprint sensor, GPS, apps stopping, buggy, camera blurred. ....but that battery!
Fingerprint sensor is brilliant on the cheap A5 Pro. Like most fails when hands are damp.
Camera is average but it is 100% stable, Wireless casting, VoFi and Volte all working fine too.

At £135 or so for this the camera needs to be improved.

+3. I've had a few lesser known Chinese phones in the past, always been a bit of a letdown in one way or another. Xiaomi all the way for me now(Mi Max 3), another Xiaomi for the wife, and a very recent convert has been the daughter too

I think as with most Chinese phones you have to look for the updates in the settings
