6.53" screen lol. Remember when 7" was the stanard small tablet size and now 6.5" screen phones aren't uncommon. Wish 5.5" or so phones got more attention. The "small" phones are normally the low budget and massively underspecced ones.
All I can say about those since I've owned a umidigi phone is : please. For the love of satan. Don't buy this phone

The umidigi I had Was really really terrible
Negatives:
-4g never worked properly
-touchscreen had many dead spots
-fingerprint sensor was very slow
-Fake dual camera
-They lies about the battery
-Had severe issue trying to load eaven 720 p video on its 1080p display
- fake as card slot
-it got dropped on to a sofa and the screen disintegrated and eventually fell out
-random shut downs
-Speakers did not work
-The headphone jack put pressure on the LCD pannel
- never ever did it receive a software update
-would not charge unless the screen was on
-horrible battery life
Positives
-only cost £120
That's it

Great price on 11/11 if you can get one, assume led screen which is the only downside, pure android on this I think is a godsend as it's only the ropey OS overlays that spoil some of these phones for the western market. Heat added, and rather tempted!

Ooh camera in screen.

Apple will do this in 2021 for a mere £45/month 30 month contract.

Also check out the AliExpress 11.11 sale from Monday, lots of bargains to be had including of UleFone stuff. You can add to basket and buy at sale price.

i for one am definitely going to try to land this beast for the pittance they ask....
It's definitely good for the price but I would recommend the Redmi Note 8t, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Realme X2 over this for around the same price. This is close though. Voted hot

I'm not too bothered by stock really. I have an Honor View 10, definitely not stock . But it is good to see it launching with Android 10. That is something most if not all phones in its price range lack atm. More expensive ones lack it too
A word of caution and maybe a case of buyer beware. Think Umidigi have been telling porkies with the z2. These phones allegedly shipped with a 3850mah battery. My brothers z2 hasn't lasted a day and so we decided to have a looksy inside. Turns out the battery in his phone was a 2700mah which was hidden under the main battery sticker that showed 3850mah?

Go on then.... My first foray into these 'chinese' low cost, high spec phones started with a ZTE AXON 7 (on which i am currently typing this). Will never look back. Complete bang for buck i say!

Awesome! Thanks for the info @Rod_SmithmPK
Heat added..... The specs on this phone are amazing value for your money ( as long as the battery really is that size and lasts well). Can't wait to see some reviews on it as I would be definitely interested as it's stock android that is so clean and not buggy at all.

Avoid Umidigi phones. I bought 2 in the pass and both were rubbish. Good spec phones but touch screen and hardware are poor quality. I end up sellling both on cex.
Helio p70 is actually a pretty decent chipset its just a shame that mtk are so f***ing despicable and dont release their kernel sources so you wont ever see a good stable custom rom for these phones.

I had a umi super in the past and it was pretty good but again no stable custom roms and the gps signal was terrible so couldnt use it for navigation.
I had a Umidigi Z1 a while back (6GB RAM was more than most flagships had at the time!) and the hardware was pretty good for the sub-200 quid I paid for it. However, it *never* got a single Android update (not even a minor one) in the year I used it :-(

Umidigi are probably like a lot of lesser brands - they release far too many models to simultaneously support with updates, so they simply don't bother to update any of them! The next new shiny model is how you upgrade your Android (I got caught out with the Blu Vivo 6 exactly the same way), I'm on a Redmi Note 5 now and that's had a ton of updates including to Android 9 (but I don't think I'll get 10 because the Note 6, 7 and 8 have been rapidly released since - all with a crappy, dealbreaking notch on their display!).

Updates are the main reason I bought a pixel 2 xl. Seeing those updates rolled out every month or so is bliss. And the phone speed, camera are still amazing on it
My UMIDIGI A5 PRO bought in June has had a couple of improvement updates, it's now a really good phone. Noticed its back in the 11.11 sales too. Recommended.
It’s a me, Umidigi!
Looks good on paper but I've been burned by non premium Chinese brands in the past that looked great and worked well initially before packing up.

I now only stick with Xiaomi, Huawei/Honor and Lenovo of the Chinese brands as they've proved to be good and reliable in the past.

ZTE is a major chine brand like Huawei, xiaomi, vivo, and one plus (though most Chinese haven't heard of it. I just picked up the one plus 7t and my wife a Huawei p30 pro while in China and they are great. China has enough budget models that I wouldn't take my chances with something they wouldn't sell in China.

Huawei have a few tiers, mate p series, honor and nova. Lots of sub £250 options available.

People are still waiting for them to send this for this from back in October. They have not even posted yet. You may not get it this side of Christmas. Also Umidigi customer services are non existent on Ali express. The phones are good though. I have the F1 play.

@fergie1010 you might find that the reason for customers not receiving their phones yet, is because the dispatch process begins the other side of 20th Nov. It may well happen that one might not receive the phone, this side of Christmas ... but then again, i personally am not in any hurry; as long as i get the working, value for money, bang for buck product.
Basically keep away if one is not happy to take in their stride - what dealing with buying from these Chinese sources entails

It looks like it was awarded for this promo game. According to the rules it had a prize of $1M split between everyone who got to the end of the level. It ended at midnight (Pacific time) on the 9th. So, if you didn't play it (or didn't get to the end of the game), then you don't get the coupon so no extra discount for most.

I didn't even know about it so no site coupon for me
