THIS IS A KARCHER K5 PRESSURE WASHER NOT K2 or K4! THIS IS A HIGHER SPEC MODEL!

Brilliant Deal at Costco for the Karcher K5 with Car Kit. I know there is a difference of opinion from members whether Karcher or Nilfisk is better. But at £216, you simply cannot go wrong at this price. If you can claim back the VAT, even better! (There is a £40 off Voucher)

This isn't about preference, just the price! So please vote based on price alone. FYI This is the cheapest I can find on the net with the car kit.

FYI Same spec Nilfisk 2100w E140 with Car Accessories cost around £254 from Amazon. Without car kit £195 at Argos.

karcher.co.uk/uk/…htm

I believe it comes with a Costco 5 year warranty as well.

2100W & 140bar

Comes with

Car kit
Integrated fine mesh water filter
Adapter garden hose A3/4"
High-pressure hose, 8 m
Plug 'n' Clean System

Gun with quick connect
Quick Connect on machine
Water cooled engine
Vario-power spray lance
Dirt Blaster

Why Cold????

Costco deals always go cold, no idea why (maybe because the feckless can't get cards??), Lots of great bargains and I save my membership many times over, just by buying things in bulk.

Hot from me.

Check the stuff in the booklets and the majority of the prices in the booklet are increased to put them in there with a reduction to normal prices. My sister-in-law works for Costco in Manchester. You can get deals sometimes depending on what you want but a lot of the time when it is on special in a supermarket it beats Costco. I will admit that the vast majority of Costco stuff is quality. And if you get the black card then the membership can be free when you get year-end cashback.

I have seen that a few times, but they do have some serious offers which are unbeatable. I havent yet found a cheaper K5 Karcher Washer yet on the net

Wish I knew someone who wasn't feckless and could afford a card, that must be great, I can only dream of such things!!!

Good Deal Though!!

Why cold? Best (quality) power washer deal I've seen in years. 5 year warranty and the nifty attachments are about worth the price alone!

Will be getting one of these if I can get get any friends in GB to do the honours at costco (I'm in N Ireland). Got the k.5700 jubilee upon launch about 5 years ago now and it's seen better days and dogs abuse. It was well over double the price of this, with a standard (then) one year karcher warranty.

To rejuvenate it would cost almost as much as this new one and hours of fiddling about with o-rings, inlets, valves etc.... with no extras and no warranty!

If anyone in here is in the market for a power washer this summer, this will not be beaten for price, quality and peace of mind with the 5 year warranty.

:-)

amazing deal, for a K5!! hot hot hot

going to buy one ASAP

Does anyone know if this deal is still available?

Thanks

best quality washer....are you having a laugh

karcher are terrible quality now

i checked out a stihl one and they are cheaper and far better quality

you get a similar stihl washer for 180 rrp but you can easily get 20% off that

stihl have far more accesories than karcher too and the quality is miles better than karcher eg the karcher build is shocking with sharp edges on the k5. the k5 premium has a hose reel on top and its laughable quality. stihl have a near identical one thats cheap and miles better built

I'm not familiar with Stihl's pressure washers, however I've used their chainsaws in the past and they were very good.

Would you say the Stihl RE128 Plus is a comparable machine to the Karcher K5 (Car), the next model up is a lot more money.

Disagree!
Karcher are VERY good starting from K4. All others before K4 are rubbish, thats reflects in price.
We have K4 Eco and using it daily to wash cars at my workplace and none of Karcher K4 Eco has packed up in second year.

I concur! Anything before K4 is pretty naff. I think thats what the members here didnt realise that this is a K5 before they all started voting cold. I bought this K5 and it is a beauty! With the car kit, makes it well worth the price!

Royals,

Others have pointed out your mistake and I'll do the same.

This is a K5. 140bar. For well under £200.

Yes, stihl are a fantastic manufacturer of quality tools, many of which I own.

However for under £200 you will be getting nowhere near this K5 deal with a stihl. The equivalent model would probably be the 143, which is getting dangerously close to £1000 with accessories!

So, similar performance, 5 year warranty with Costco (if purchased from there, 2 years karcher) , and enough for a holiday with the difference. No brainier.

By going with a budget stihl you are falling into the very same trap as people who aren't very clever and bought a budget model yellow washer with karcher name thinking the name alone would give a powerful performance.

In my opinion the same applies to Stihl as to Karcher. If you are buying a rrp £180 washer from stihl, in my opinion, you are not buying a true stihl, merely their version of the washers that have brought the Karcher brand down over the years.

This K5 is a real Karcher for silly money. You cannot get a real Stihl (as much as I would like to) for anywhere close.

Considering this was my post, I made the mistake of saying this is a K4 instead of K5! The power on this machine is tremendous, I was taken back when I first used it

They are £289.99 in Costco??? Never seen a deal knocking £100 off for these, are you sure?
