92p for a paint roller and tray is unbelievably cheap!!!

You need to spend £10 to get this item for this price. Maybe some of the links below might help with the DIY and £10 spend!?

There are also some other cheap Stanley deals which are the best price they have ever been:
amazon.co.uk/Sta…QU/

amazon.co.uk/Sta…K80

Thank you. I have amended the description to be correct.

prime does not mean you get add on items for the reduced price without spending over ten pounds! why don't people get this?! add on is reduced price because you HAVE to spend over £10 to get the offer. prime or no prime. prime usually wavers the delivery charge under £10 so you don't have to spend over £10 to get free delivery. Why doesn't anyone else get that!!!!

I had a free prime trial at Xmas, added this. It came separately by courier in a massive box which was filled with paper to protect it, I wonder how many carbons I killed?

Ordered 2, one the wife, for Valentines day and one for her birthday.:{

YAY.
I have had two add-on items totalling £9.23 in my basket for about an hour now.. you've saved the day!

sometimes they post at a loss

U can buy from poundland or 99p store

Just ordered 2 at 92p each.
Deal is back on!

this falls under the category of...its cheaper to keep a few around than to have to stop a project and drive to get one.
can never have too many. hot for me !

These were 99p in b&q the other day.

I'm no DIY guru, but cheap rollers are just plain nasty. Unless you want a mottled effect with bits of stray roller fluff in it.

Editor

Thanks Boogaboo, an item well worth adding onto your order

doesn't seem to allow me to order more than 1?!

and interestingly if you then order something else and try to add one, it says the maximum quantity is zero!

Is there any reason to think these are any better than the pound shop ones? Because they are absolutely appalling quality - the fluff comes off the roller and sticks in the paint, the roller itself comes off the handle so you end up dripping paint everywhere and the handle is poor quality. I used a cheap one like this to paint my kitchen thinking I was saving a few quid but the experience was horrible and I ended up going out and buying a better roller.

OK most people paint then chuck the roller away, but by spending literally two pounds more you can get a reasonable one from Wilkinsons which washes well and can be re-used, and is a joy to paint with compared to this.

(No offence OP and I haven't voted either way!)

Used the Amazon live Chat and amended my order to the desired quantity, happy days, its so annoying when you're about to start painting to find you actually DIDNT clean it last time and threw it away! At this price i have absolutely NO INTENTION of ever cleaning them!

Harris for 3 pounds better buy for me , not voted

On the quality front, I only use the sleeves (with a sprung roller to avoid the annoying slipping!) and trays, for this price (to my door) I can put up with picking the odd bits of roller off the wall for the first few minutes!

We never clean them, buy the cheap ones from wilkos and just sling them

Voted hot, but might just get one from wilkos from the comments above...

Eeeesh, yes this is cheap, but I can't help but worry at the thought of people just chucking these in the bin after one use.

A good tip is to use tin foil to line the tray and then you can just throw the foil away.

I know I sound a little hypocritical, but throwing away a small length of tin foil is better than using loads of white spirits or throwing away a whole tray.

This is not just a roller and tray. This is a STANLEY roller and tray. STANLEY as in STANLEY KNIFE. A good brand.

I have ordered multiples of these using a trick on AMAZON website. My bezzie works at B&Q and when I told him about this - he goes "you can get them in Poundshops".

I don't agree that they are the same.

It takes about 10 seconds to pop a bit of tin foil in the base. If 10 seconds isn't worth it to you, you must be on about £320/hour. If that is the case, I don't know why you're on HotUKdeals .. surely you should be polishing your yacht. Or asking someone to do it.

You shouldn't have registered on this website if that's your summation...

Yes, it means summing something up, not sure where you're going with that quip. Or perhaps you're just stupid?

It takes bottle to explain a word to someone when they ask you? Wow, hardcore
