Great price. ;-)

Might want to add where it's from & free shipping in the title. Good price.

I sort of want to buy this, but there is a bit of me seeing the unknown in it. It is 'unbranded' and made in China is all we know. Never heard of CPC either, is it a site with a good reputation?

Great deal. ordered and heat added thanks.

Unsure about the quality of the item, but CPC are a very reputable business

CPC Farnell are awesome, on FTSE as a long established UK company. I worked in IT and have spent thousands with them. Great quality and typically unbeatable prices for this kind of thing.

i bought this over a year ago and use it for my computer, consoles and hard drives power supply. It's pretty reliable, may consider getting another one.

I've had a couple of unbranded extensions from this site, only complaint i had with the 10 gang one was the sockets were a little tight but i've never had another issue with it.

Smells of self-promotion.

Do they have wall mount holes on the back?

I think you have been around long enough to know CPC wouldn't self promote. Yes I agree the guy only posts CPC deals but they do have some amazing deals and it seems to come in fits and starts. Have you replaced the old Astra yet?

And read this post

There is 1200 units available in stock according to site. Does not look like a surge protection extension, they usually have a light, and a bit more of a surgey appearance. Maybe it is sound, just not so sure is all.

No individual on/off switch = cold from me.
Sorry.

They've sold 200 in the last hour then. Plus it does have an led + 'some kind' of surge protection logo on it.

Thanks

Ordered. Thank you

Of course their staff would self promote, such shady marketing tactics.

I've bought 2 items from CPC, the high velocity fan that was posted recently. Customer service is very good when you phone them up. Delivery was the next day and that was without paying any extra!

I'm not a staff member by the way.

Showing 970 in stock @ "Price: £2.55 (£3.06)" for me..

Just ordered one, why is this expired?

edit: does anyone know how to stop them sending junkmail/flyers to your address? Can't find a setting in my account to stop it.

IIRC you email them and they'll remove you from the mailing lists

You need to email them, unfortunately. It's the one downside to shopping with them. Their sales tactics are very aggressive.

Could always mark them as junk or block their sales email after you've got your confirmations?

why wouldn't they self promote?

this guy clearly has something to do with cpc, he's also edited a load of titles to say "expired" after being accused of self promotion which is a bit odd

I just ordered one, there were 900+ in stock. Although on the payment page it did mention 'Or until stock is exhausted'.

haha price showing as 59.99?

not sure why headline is £59.99

Bargain bought 2

I find it hard to believe this product has true surge protection. I strongly suspect it is just a 6 gang extension in a nice black colour (which is a good USP in itself). Won't be buying, would rather buy something I believe have genuine surge protection.

strange that the op has a "vote cold " message in the description - what gives?

Yeah baby, ordered 10 so that I can plug 'em together and have 50 sockets available. The neighbours won't even notice, so hawt deal

£3 for black 6 gang is a steal! Hot ! Can someone change the price in title? Ordered two.
