Is this worth playing if you haven't played the first 3? Ie, would you constantly be having to catch up with storyline etc..?

In the past 3 you can play each game on its own tbh. There are small connections you miss out in the story line but it’s minor. In this game they make quite a bit of references to past games.

My advice is play those 3 games first as you will enjoy and appreciate part 4 even more better
