Only if you want your children to learn American

Yes, is an American book.
Because I'm getting old, the youths seem to speak American-English anyway.
People say 'gotten' now.

I did think of this, however, after browsing quickly, it is quite UK English usable. However, it did get off with a bad start in American, eggroll, which we call spring roll.

Hoping it will occupy a few children, briefly.
There are a few American jokes which don't translate too well.

I'm not looking forward to American TV shows or films being broadcast in the UK

Children generally don't where I live but, if you go further afield it becomes more prevalent.
