To note the title on House of Fraser website doesn’t match picture - title says 7 inch shorts however I took a punt on ordering and received the item in the image (the leggings). Even with postage can’t find cheaper.

Dreadful place to put a pocket. Have some cheap & cheerful running leggings off Amazon with a phone pocket on the thigh area, much better place for it.

I have seen the phone pocket on these but haven’t used as use watch for music/audiobook etc while out. These ones have a pocket at the back too with a zip - other than watch and headphones I only take a car or front door key so this works nicely. Occasionally I use a running belt but not often. I’ve not tried leggings with pocket in the leg, maybe if I spot a pair next time round will give a try - thanks for the tip.

No first hand experience but dont see why not. They are compression, not thermal but keep legs warmer and wick away sweat. There is no fly if that’s important.
