Underworld (2003): Vampires and lycans, an ancient form of werewolf, are at war. While the vampires inhabit a gigantic castle that houses their ancestor's tombs, the lycans live underground in a dilapidated sewer cave. Both teams are equipped with big guns, and they are constantly innovating deadlier bullets to gain advantage over each other. On the vampire side, the leather-clad death agent Selene (Kate Beckinsale) delegates teams of vamps to attack the lycans. But when she discovers that the lycans have kidnapped a human medical student, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), she knows the worst is on its way. Against the orders of her superior, Kraven (Shane Brolly), who is obsessively in love with Selene, she awakens the most powerful vampire of all time, Viktor (Bill Nighy) and prepares for a massive feud against lycan leader Lucian (Michael Sheen)...

Underworld Evolution (2005): Bloodthirsty vengeance is measured out in buckets, not spoonfuls for this hard-hitting vampire movie sequel. The story picks up right where the first Underworld left off, in the midst of a war between Lycans (werewolves) and vampires, with the gorgeous death-dealer Selene (Kate Beckinsale), on the run with her vamp-wolf hybrid lover, Michael (Scott Speedman).

Being the cause of Viktor's death, Selene can only hope to plea to the last remaining elder, Marcus. However, Marcus has already awakened and has become a more powerful creature than before. Now his only remaining goal is to awaken his Lycan brother William from his eternal imprisonment. With time running out, Selene and Michael must piece together the final clues to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines and stop Marcus before it's too late...

Underworld 3 - Rise Of The Lycans (2009): A prequel to the last two Underworld movies, this installment traces the beginnings of the blood-feud between the dominant Death Dealers and their former slaves, the Lycans. Led by the forceful Lucian, the Lycan uprising begins to take shape in order to escape the shackles of the evil Viktor, the vampire king who rules them.

Just a warning. The quality of the video and audio on these blu-rays has had some very bad reviews.
If you have the DVDs already, don't bother.

The Lovefilm code has since expired, so this is cheaper now [again]

Hot :-D

My mate has both the DVD and Blu-ray of these and he says on an upscaler DVD player you would be hard pushed to notice any difference :?

If you check reviews from shopping sites of people who bought it most people say the quality sucks. The reason for most of the positive reviews is that it is a really cheap blu-ray set. Get the set if you don't have the films already, but if you have the DVD's you won't really notice the difference from upscaled DVD.

I have the dvds and the blueray boxset, if you can't notice the difference then I would recommend getting your eyes checked

Great quality and that's nothing to do with the price, that's just an added bonus

Voted hot because Kate Beckinsale is very hot. ;o)

Love these films.

I think the audio gets bad reviews due it being DTS on first two, so if your decoder cannot decode it you get Standard Pro Logic from the good old days.
I did consider it but the bad pic comments on the review pages keep putting me off.

The review here is rather better than I thought so stuff it. Off to get it now

I thought the third was dreadful. I bought this set a while back for the same sort of price and fell asleep watching the last one (I must be getting old). Great value though for 3x Blu Rays in a set and as pointed out, individually wrapped as if they were single films in a card box.

There is nothing wrong with the picture on this i bought the set the other month and watched all 3 of them the sound is ok on these aswell well worth the price imo

why are you linking to a review for the US release/boxset? the US release/boxset by Sony, all 3 films have superior Picture & Audio quality & more extras (1&2 Region Free, 3 locked to RegionA), compared to the UK release/boxset by the infamous Entertainment In Video (EIV), which has a habit of releasing inferior ports using poorer quality masters & poorer audio tracks, and also usually Region Locked.

so avoid this UK release if you're a true fan of the trilogy.

EDIT: here's a thread over at AVF discussing which release/version to get:
