This is a fantastic collection of Underworld tracks, and a great starting point for someone looking to get into the band. It contains most of the big tunes from their albums (not including their most recent, Oblivion With Bells) and also a selection of B-Sides and other rarities, such as the magnificent 'Eight Ball' and 'Spikee'.

It takes a while to "get" some of the older tracks like 'Mmm Skyscraper I Love You' and 'Dirty Epic' as they aren't as accessible as some of the more recent commercial releases, such as 'Two Months Off' and 'Born Slippy .NUXX', but once you get into the vibe of Underworld's sound you find that every track on these two CD's is a superb gem of electronic music. From the hypnotic sounds of 'Rez' to the calming warm fuzz of 'Eight Ball' and the pure acoustic assault that is 'Moaner', the track selection shows just how diverse the band's sound is.

They really are Gods at what they do, and this CD is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what they have to offer. So immerse yourself in Underworld and discover the rest for yourselves!

i always loved 'rez' at the end of vanilla sky! awesome

Nice find, hot

Excellent

Mmm skyscraper I love you.

My most favouritest band...ever. Got all their albums so didn't get this - but hot if you want a quick guide to the best electronic act in the universe.

I had the ltd edition pink vinyl copy of Rez and i still remember the first time i heard it out in a barn party in a farm somewhere..lets just say i had to be peeled off the ceiling....But my fav is Dark and long Train... the driving synths just are awesome....oh the good old days eh!

I'd pay £3 to hear Born Slippy for the first time again.

It's all about Dirty Epic for me, absolutely love that track. So sick of Born Slippy Nuxx

I adore the 17min live version of Rez/Cowgirl on the Bootleg Babies comp... discogs.com/Und…464

I've got this album and it's BRILLIANT - you've reminded me to dig it out again as I haven't listened to it for a while - HOT from me

The whole album is great, I prefer it to Everything, Everything, there's some lovely live versions in there too, even Born Slippy Nuxx sounds good.

Seen them live on many occasions, The Arches gig in Glasgow was superb as they seemed to just be really buzzing off the crowd and working each and every track to the max.
