Not immensely cheaper than the Play/Amazon deal at the moment, but it's nice to save £1 when you can

"In the UNDERWORLD films are a trilogy of dark and Gothic monster action movies, vampires and lycans--an ancient form of werewolf--are at war. While the vampires inhabit a gigantic castle that houses their ancestor's tombs, the lycans live underground in a dilapidated sewer cave. Both teams are equipped with big guns, and they are constantly innovating deadlier bullets to gain advantage over each other. Includes UNDERWORLD, UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION and UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS."

Rhona Mitra ('Sonja' in "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans") was a lot better in "Doomsday" (as 'Major Eden Sinclair'). I think the change in Director (from, co-creator of the "Underworld" story/characters, Len Wiseman to Patrick Tatopoulos) was the wrong move with the last "Underworld" movie to be screened (chronologically first in the story line), but Wiseman's involvement with "Die Hard 4.0" was a good decision for that franchise.

"...Rise of the Lycans" isn't an awful movie; it just isn't as good as the initial "Underworld", & certainly a long way from "...Evolution".

BFN,

fp.

[EDIT]: PS. Wiseman is currently working on a re-modelling/re-make of "Total Recall". Yes, "...Why?" was my initial thought too! [/EDIT]
