Yes thats right a BRAND new release for the Super Famicom (Snes) in 2017!!!
It's a vs fighter from Ex SNK staff along the lines of the Vampire Hunter (Darkstalker) series.
Already sold out at Genki UK and Amazon Japan, Play Asia still have limited copies left to pre-order.
More of a heads up deal as i'm sure this is a pretty niche market, but good for anyone who thought they had missed out.
Japanese SFC game, but no confirmation if it's region locked or not.

see more at: foxbat.co.jp/

About the game:

Unholy Night is a new FG from "ex-SNK staff who worked on Kizuna Encounter and KOF98, 2001 and 2002". Unholy Night is for Super Nintendo, and will be available in 32MB cartridge.

Various subsystems - When attacks touch each other, they are in a "cross-attack" state, mutual actions are canceled and partitioning is possible (even if the attack and the front step are in contact). In addition, arcade game can not be caught by various subsystems such as "guard cancellation attack" which attacks using gauge during guard and "tactical attack" which becomes a continuous attack by pushing the button at the right timing You can enjoy playing.

Game mode
1. Story mode, 2. VS mode 3. Survival mode 4. Practice mode, 5. Ranking 6. Optional. The sync gauge is necessary to use "Super Special Attack" "Guard Cancel Attack". When using "Super Special Attack" "Guard Cancel Attack", we will consume 1 synchro gauge scale.

This is pretty much one for the collectors tbh. Casual / modern gamers are probably not going to enjoy it , as there are far superior fighters on current / last gen consoles. However, like similar new retro console releases i do expect it to sell for funny money on ebay after it's release.

if I was loaded it would be a no brainer but I expect i'll see if its been dumped first (just to test obvs) before deciding.

hopefully its not region locked, I'd be surprised if it was.

also heat for niche!

I actually ordered 2 because when nightmare busters came out for the snes a couple of years back it was about 45 quid delivered to the uk and i missed it, within weeks of it's release it was selling for £200 on ebay and i was gutted. This time round i'm just hoping to sell my 2nd copy to cover the cost of the one i'm keeping

oh man. understand. gaming regrets stack up like no other. I nearly bought the glow in the dark 'boo' 3ds coverplates when they were £18 imported but decided I didnt need them. mistake.

Thanks. I would never know that's a new snes game would be out in the one on one beat up style. Ordered

nightmarebusters.com/pur…htm You can still but it here for a decent price

This there a web site that sell new releases retro console games like this? I love the fact you can still get games like this without having to pay early to mid 90's prices when it was £60 for a new released snes game only for it to be
Shaq-fu!
