Heads up used to be a fan of these then realised cost effective solution would be a dehumidifier. Haven't looked back since

No store in Aberdeen. Think B&M will be the best place to get them in Aberdeen. Have got them Inside loft.
Great value. I use one of these in the room we dry clothes and it does a solid job.

Yep sadly they are very limited in what they do. Ive put one in my car a few times to remove some of the dampness. They are messy too as I can guarantee you will spill some of the resultant blue liquid.
Having said that I will probably buy a pack or two for the car/wardrobe so heat added.

I did invest in a proper Dimplex Humidifier and there is no comparison to these. They are a lot more expensive but worth every penny.

Got a proper dehumidifier and it removes the same water in a couple of hours that these things take a month to do.

Heat for the price, but these really are pants. Only useful for a really small cupboard. Maybe.
i used some of these after fresh plaster on wall .. this helped to get rid of a damp spot that was looming there for weeks .. THey do fill up really fast though (depends on amount of moisture in the room) so you have to be carefull not to drop them when they are full cos they can leak easily ...

TBF only reason not bought again is cos I find the £1 ones from pound shops do pretty much same thing and the cost of refills is ludacris even at 'half price'

if its an ongoing issue maybe a dehumidifier will sort it or look at what the underlying reason for the damp is

Difficult to plug a dehumidifier into the attic though
If you have problems with damp you need better insulation not these things, which are next to useless for any true humidity problem.
Click and collect order submitted for 4 packs of Lavender fragrance from the Norwich Wickes, only to arrive to collect what I had already paid for and was then told they didn't have any. It's either poor stock control or incompetent staff. And I thought the internet was meant to be time saving. Thanks for the wasted effort Wickes.
Ordered the last 4 of these for click & collect from my local store, rushed down there only to be told they’re oos. Apparently these are very old stock and they’d returned all their old stock on a pallet months ago and H.O. haven’t updated their stock control records.
If you do order or want some, probably best to ring the store for availability, rather than order and pay and then have the order cancelled.
