OOps! My bad.

Good spot, this is £3.98 per tube at B&Q.

Ordered half a dozen of these plus a load of other stuff like spanners, toolboxes, multimeter, sandpaper, polyfilla etc for £51 delivered  (free delivery on DIY if you spend over £50)

Anyone know if this would be suitable to use in the bathroom? i.e to stick tumbler/soapdish holders to the tiles?

I have never tried using it there - but as it can hold skirting boards onto bendy walls that have been replastered smooth - then I think you are in with a chance.

Its good stuff.

Thanks - I know numberplate double sided padded tape for cars does work.

Poundland have something similar called "Hard as Nails" but I can't remember how much it was.

I wouldn't think so, it usually says on the tube that at least one surface has to be porous. It stciks things like skirting boards well because of the large surface area, small things don't stick so well. I doubt if it's waterproof either, I think something like sanitary silicone would work better.

personaly I think nonails , and all its variants are complete ****.
The only intant sticking putty I would recomend it Gripfill , which dries almost instantly and can hold shelves up!.
screwfix.com/pro…0ml
Ive used gripfill for many things , from car body kit attaching to sticking windows in.
it is so good the plaster on your walls will break before the adhesive.

i agree Gripfill is very stong, only prob is that the tube dries out quicker than a plastic tube. it will take off you plaster if its loose from the brick.
you could so for toolstation's Glue Screws Pink its slightly cheaper.
most of these grip fills are the same not the really cheap ones from poundland but
its not worth going B&Q or any other retail outlet for any building/diy material they are just too damn expensive.
stick to toolstation or screwfix, if you have them near by. the offer trade prices for the average customer and dont ask any funny trade questions.
hope this helps.

I've found the the cheapo poundland stuff to be as good as "hard as nails".
although having said that, they aint that strong. Gripfill sounds good, so may have to give it a go.

If jesus came to earth today
they'd crucify him straight away
on a cross of MDF
and they'd use "No Need For Nails".

this reminds me of the joke about the terrorist bomber...

apparently he used a nail bomb made from as-hard-as-nails

and killed no one.
