Re xigent comments..
"some" sealants actually are ok a bit beyond date, I kinda screwed up buying on offers, putting away until needing, SOME sealant were dead before exp date...guess depends on how stored, not just by you but, from wherever you buy from...

Have used in the past with very good results.
Unless you plan to use all of it immediately, you might want to check the use by date before you leave the store.

Any good for skirting boards
Is this any good for re-fixing the screws of a coat hanger that has come off a wooden door?
I bought few and I gave a call to Unibond. The batch number system is not been in use for the last 3-4 years he said. The newer one should have a production date(not an expiring date) 3 numbers(day of the year) followed by the year then they say that should be used in within 18-24 months from that date. Someone will email me on monday to know when it was produced. For sure this product is expired long time ago hence the reduced price. Just the other day I opened a NONSENSE clear silicon purchased over 3years ago and it was perfect. Anyway, a different product.
Used to buy this stuff all the time then found that my everyday trade silicone does exactly the same job for half the price, but for £2 well Worth it if it still works, over time they will detoriate no doubt about that, left in sun they will go solid in the tube.
