Nice find @Jackie2605 - good first deal

Welcome to the community, have some heat from me!
Don’t get the hype (and yes we do have one). Not big enough to be practical, yet bulky and expensive. Perhaps we’re using it wrong...

I hate ours. We used it for one holiday and it was such a pain that its been in the cupboard since. You're totally right, it's not big enough to be practical, they're bulky, they're expensive, but he yre difficult to open and close on the plane, they're a nightmare in the airport.

Agree the kid can't steer it and as it opens by splitting down the middle half the stuff will fall out if you open it
We've got one and I've decided it's not going abroad with us again. Useful in some ways, very annoying in others as others have said. My girl loves it though so hopefully will still get some use out of it, just not in airports.
We have two and it is indeed a pain to take on an airplane. I also think it’s far to expensive for what it is.
Save your money and get a minimax ... Loads more room and pockets. Trunkis are annoying and your kids will not ride them around the airport which means you will be left to lug it around with a stupid handle.

The minimax is a backpack and proper suitcase big enough for all your stuff and light enough for kids to carry.

Worth checking this one out for those looking to spend half the price of a Trunki

Doesn’t look as good and probably why it’s cheap

Totally agree. Utterly useless apart from kids living it initially. Ours is in the useless pit in the garage along with the toastie maker

Only way to find out is to buy and try
Plenty of used ones on various sites at a much lower price than RRP. There’s a reason they are so cheap...
I’m not sure what everyone expected from a ride on suitcase for children though. It’s obviously going to be a bit of fun for the children, as it’s clearly not made with practicality in mind for adults whilst in an airport. However that’s completely obvious before you buy it!

We really like ours though and our child loves it too. We got the blue one a little while ago for around £20. Great for weekends away whether you’re flying or driving.
Will this unicorn disappear on 31st October?

We got a standard one for £19 on Amazon Warehouse deals. It's perfect for our daughter, although have never gone abroad with it.

It’s a plastic box on wheels so pretty much both the same! Trunki looks much nicer tho
Purchased, thank you.
