3280649.jpgPretty cheap for a fully synthetic oil, I saw this at Liverpool St John's store yesterday. No idea if it's national but appears to crop up from time to time so giving a heads up.

Edit: Not fully synthetic as advertised on shelf edge.

Very cheap, I never understand the people who would buy something premium like Motul etc and only change it every 3 years when you could buy something cheaper like this which is still fully synthetic and then change it every 6 to 12 months instead.

Fear of it not being expensive enough I suspect. I'll happily decant this into a fancier bottle and sell it at three times the price if it'll help people sleep at night.

A lot of spec oils are taken from base stocks ie bulk buy... i'm sure motul do things in house... specific blending... not bulk filled bottles.... however, if the 'cheap' oil is as spec... no problem
Oh no its the oil , please not the oil - cue the neverending arguments of premium oil vs Cheapo oil lol
Bargain. Thanks.
I'll have a butchers at my store today. I'll drink anything if it's cheap

This is 4 Stroke oil, you only need 2 Stroke.
So you only need to use half the usual amount.
How many litres does my Bugatti chiron take...oil is oil right?
People buy premium oil because it's more refined and alot more science has gone behind it in terms of longevity of your engine etc.
You aren't going to be putting cheap, less refined oils in your 20k plus motor that you have on tick, unless you're on here and you portray the internet millionaire, I own 5 cars, I'm on a deals website lifestyle. Cringe.

Changing the oil on your Bugatti Chiron is a specialist job requiring excellent workshop facilities and expertise only Bugatti trained engineers will have. Do not attempt this yourself. Have you tried Kwikfit?

I think there is some money to be saved doing it yourself... ''For a Veyron, the least expensive model at $1.7 million, an oil change costs $20,000 to $25,000'' lol

Anyone know if its bmw ll04 approved?
I'm expiring this on the basis that Unipart's specs describe the oil as "part synthetic" and not "fully synthetic" as advertised in store. Apologies but Home Bargains appear to have incorrect shelf edge labelling.
The 5W40 is fully synthetic.

Have you considered expiring it in part?

The PDF I linked to from Unipart says "PROS400 - 5W-40 Premium SyntheticApproved High Performance part synthetic oil for a variety of petrol and diesel cars and van". No idea if say LL-01 requires it to be fully synthetic and this is a misprint by unipart? If somebody else wants to repost it as fully synthetic or single malt then that's fine by me.

No it's not. The 5w40 is …No it's not. The 5w40 is LL-01.http://www.unipartleisure.co.uk/promo/email/attachments/Unipart-Oils-E-Brochure-Edition-01.pdf

Is that because ll04 is always 5w-30?
