The oil has been at this price for some time now, but a lot of people dont know that THE RANGE sell this oil. or who makes it!! which is why its such a good price for a good quality oil.

UNIPART oil is a good quality oil, in the trade its rumoured that its re-badged by Unipart and made by Fuchs TITAN Supersyn, (Google will confirm this)

Cheers

Rick

As said above, its rumoured and confired to be re-badged of the Fuchs TITAN Supersyn product... (Just google it..)

If voting cold...... please state why.... and advise why you can buy the same product or better for less...

Rick

There seems to be a lot of cheap oil on here lately, several for 5W 30.
I heard that Morrisons have it even cheaper.

I wonder is any of it is any good at all, as really good stuff is more like £50 for 5L.

This stuff is said to be made by Fuchs TITAN Supersyn, ( who are some part of the UNIPART group now) (plus, a lot of the deals you see around now are only for SEMI synth too)

There are a lot of cheap oils out there, and the problem is that a lot of people dont know whats good or bad unless it has the famous oil brand on the tub..

There are cheap brands out there like Comma oil which is a cheap brand, but still an ok oil if use for short or 12 month servicing with the right engines.. which a lot of super markets re-badge it too..

Good spot, always use it

Can't think why they show a map of the UK on their store locator, as they have no stroes in Scotland, or Northern Ireland..

Good deal if you are in England or Wales though

Thanks for the hint, will be getting some soon hopefully for my car, added heat.

edit: do they do 10w/40?

I tried that link and the website said 10w-40 for my car.
I try the one on Halfords website and it reccomends 2 at 0w-40 and 5w-40....

Guess I need to read the car manual instead?

This is what the Castrol oil selector says:-

castrol.com/cas…829

Seems to suggest anything between 0W/30 and 10W/40

The oil in this thread is A3/B4 spec. so should be OK although the owners handbook should tell you for sure.

EDIT : that link may not work in FF but seems OK in IE.
