A pack of 4 Uniross Hybrio rechargeable AAA batteries. Hybrio batteries come ready to use - so you don't have to charge them the first time.

I use the AA size for my digital camera & they are excellent. They hold their charge for several months unlike ordinary NiMH rechargeables.

great price dwl99, only a few left now.

Nice one, was going to pay more to get some decent rechargables at my local Wilkos.

Differnent make but cheaper at play.com … Differnent make but cheaper at play.com anyway:http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/872963/Encore-1000mAh-NiMH-AAA-Size-Rechargable-Batteries/Product.html

Hybrio are the new technology in rechargeables, this one at play.com is the standard NIMH, not fair comparison.

Ah, sorry, you were looking for AAA not AA.

Yes, not awake yet, in that case another option are these, good but expensive;

i don't think the play.com ones are of the same type as mentioned above. These are new NIMH+ batteries (the + is the important bit) which hold their charge for over 12 months. This means that for most uses they are better than higher rated batteries. (Despite their lower rating). They also arrive charged and ready to use.

I have bought them from an ebay shop 'vapextech' and have been very happy with them.

He is selling packs of 4 AA or AAA for £5 delivered.

Which reminds me. I must get some more before he sells out now!

Same packs are 4,99 at homebase, they had 10% off this week. Also available as a pack of two with compact charger for 3,49 at Amazon.

Thanks

I picked them up at homebase for £4.50 - Both AAA and AA!

Now looking for a decent charger as im told the £3.49 one doesnt have a timer or turn off when they are fully charged! Any suggestions?

What’s the highest capacity for these type of batteries?

Also can I charge this type of battery with a very fast 15 minute charger. The one I have is:

BTW this charger came with 4 AA batteries – I use it all the time as it really does charge 4 AA's in 15 minutes!
