The description is confusing, that makes it look like it changes 6V AC to 12V DC, when it does 230V AC to 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V DC switchable. Maybe you should edit the description?

Thanks -- Corrected

Hot! It's only 500mA so won't power some devices but for a quid it's a total bargain. Description still a bit confusing though. 3V to 12V adapter had me asking myself "eh?, what's that for?". Not that it really matters but 'multi voltage universal adapter' would be clearer.

Unregulated output at this price presumably but still a bargain.

Comes with a "Unconditional Guarantee"............yeah,if it blows up your Ipad or Kindle, poundland will give you back your pound.

Uniross is a well established brand, so even though it's onlly 500mA it looks like a steal at this price.

This is a bargain and worth buying as an emergency spare adapter.

Good price

From the picture of the packaging, it looks identical to this:Uniross 500ma, which is £9.99, so sounds like a good deal to me.

may be used to power laptops

Bargain, very good for a quid.

If i have a 9volt 300ma electrical equipment will this be of any use?

rsb

Yes, as long as you can find the correct adaptor plug at the end, but believe me at £1.00 (the price of a can of decent lager) you can't go wrong, even if it is wrong!

Could not find this in the Crawley branch.:(
