where can you get the £2.50 voucher?

Meh good price for what it is but poor charger means I wont be buying one

Good price for good batteries.

Slow charger @ 150 Mah per hour which means at least 14 hours to charge these up and possibly more.
Most non intelligent chargers have a timer to switch it off, but it can leave batteries undercharged, meaning they won't least as long.

I have the 300 charger which runs for 9 hours or so which means that all but the highest capacity batteries get a full charge.

That all said it is a good price, and I do prefer slower chargers.

you just presented a good case for getting quicker chargers.. but then drop the atom bomb that you prefer slower ones that don't charge the batteries up fully?

your logic is odd

as am I

Indeed, I have a workmate who wants to buy this when she gets home, and that expired sign scared us, Unexpire please!

hi brought 2 of these 40 p each on car boot sale lol

its not expired

Brilliant,
Bought will give Heat and the Lark

been looking for this for ages

Good price but when you read reviews on Amazon the charger takes 18 hours to charge the batteries and does not have auto switch off when fully charged. Might be wiser to pay more for energiser one on amazon - charges in one hour!

doesnt sound too good even for a fiver

I bought this charger months ago, and was always wondering why They took … I bought this charger months ago, and was always wondering why They took ages and ages to charge, and the Led light remained on. Also two of the points became powdery, and on close inspection, there was battery leakage, so I had to throw out good batteries. I agree with the last reviewer, and thank you Paul for pointing that out. I use a Digital camera and this type of charger is definitely not to be considered, if you can not stand to wait...and wait...Help other custo

and 18hourd to charge is a joke

But Five pounds is a bargain, and the batteries im using it for , are for my keyboard and mouse, so no rush at all

I've decided to become a hybrio and eneloop snob and refuse to buy standard rechargable batteries from this point onwards. otherwise, nice price!

I like you. I like sex. Is nice!

Read the reviews = pretty bad charger

I use 2500Mah batteries, so know that if I put them in the 300 Xpress then it can't be overcharged, and as I use them in my DAB radio and Wiimotes then I can wait for them to be charged up.

I don't like the faster chargers due to the heat generated within the batteries, & don't like untimed chargers as they can kill the batteries cells if you forget to turn them off. (have done that with a USB charger from dealextreme D'Oh)

Its my logic and it works for me, I fully accept that its not for everyone.

Now £6.56, but consider the batts alone would be at least 4 quid.

For your batteries to last longer, its better to have them on a slower charge that it is a fast charge.

It may be a bad charger for other reasons, but its not a bad charger because its a slow charger - it'll actually benefit your batteries than a one hour charge - ie they last more hours in use: but obviously you have to wait longer for the charge...

Personally, I've never had a problem with uniross and would buy that brand before any other with rechargeable batteries.

Also, was it expired cus the price went up to £6.56? Or have I missed the workings of the deal (also as likely) :-)

Is it really such a big deal to have to charge batteries for 14 hours or more?
If it's a problem for people forgetting then get yourself a timer.
Put them on charge early evening and they'll be charged the following morning.
I have a rechargeable 9V battery that requires a 27 hour charge.
Have to charge it every 2-3 weeks
I don't find it a pain.

I used to think that it's better to charge batteries quickly, but have learnt (mainly from here) it's not
A slow charge is better than a fast one.
Have a little patience

Is this 18hrs to charge ANY battery regardless of capacity of battery (e.g AA 2100mAh and AAA 800mAh are different capacity batteries)
