That’s good - and the Memory Maker is well worth having, especially if it’s thrown in as part of a package. Lots of photographers around in the Disney parks, and plenty of opportunities to get some nice photo ops. Personally we found the 14 day Disney ticket much more worthwhile than the Universal one, but it depends what you’re into. We only did 2 days in Universal in the end, and that was enough for us...

When did you last go, we were there if January and they said they can no longer but used, the finger print technology and hidden cameras are all really high technology now and they will not transfer. We last sold ours two years ago.
You can't resell with the biometrics now.
Still hot best parks in Florida.

I find it funny that people queue for hours for Minions.. when the same ride was Hannah Barbera and then Jimmy Neutron they couldn't get anyone on it (don't get me wrong it's a fun 3d ride).

With the passing of T2:3D now and the horrible Fast and Furious thing Universal seems a bit lost (not including IoA and Arry Potta).

The Jimmy Fallon thing is a bit weird too.... Hardly any lines when we went but we loved it.

Other than the rather novel queuing method, I found it to be the most boring ride in Florida....

That's how I find all of the Disney parks lol. Boring and old. Universal and Busch gardens have the best rides imo.
Thought Jimmy fallon was the worst ride I've ever been on
Need to get my tickets sorted. If I had the money today, they'd be getting bought.
I went there in 2009 and they had the fingerprint thing even then and it was still there in 2016 so don't think you can transfer the passes

Having said that, these have gone up so much in recent years. I paid £70 for this pass in 2009 and even in 2016 it was £138.50. With the current exchange rate being decent as well that's some crazy inflation!

I don't know how much a 14 day Disney pass is this year but last year they were £279. I do love Universal but you get a whole lot more with a Disney pass. Watch out for the parking though!
Does anybody know if the 'Express Pass' under Services at the description of the tickets actually mean that these tickets have the Express included so that you don't have to wait in the 'normal' queue? I thought that was a special pass you needed to buy, but it seems to be included here. Would be good if someone could confirm? Cheers!

This does not include express. You either stay in a universal hotel or pay $99 per day for that

Yep Memory maker is brilliant, you just tap your ticket on a mickey orb leaving the ride and you automatically get your ride photo for free.

The fast pass benefits are... mixed. The rides you really need them for fill out a month in advance, especially now they've added another tier of premium fast passes.

On Universal vs Disney. The Harry Potter lands, especially Diagon Alley blow anything at Disney out of the water in terms of theming and the rides are amazing (even the train journey between the parks is suprisingly neat). There's a new rollercoaster that should be finished next year where you ride through the Dark Forest on Hagrid's (or Sirius') bike that could also be something special.

That said, Outside of Harry Potter Universals new rides have been pretty mediocre of late, lots of 3D screens and clones of rides already in the other park. Disney just generally seem to put more work even into the minor rides.

I'll quite happily spend 3-4 days at universal and 5-6 days doing the Disney parks mind.

Remember at both universal and Disney parking is eyewatering. $23-25 a day.
Not sure if it's relevant to anyone else but I'd never used Florida Escapes before but have used Attraction Tickets Direct. Spoke to ATD and they price matched it.
