I'd stick them up the arse of that commentator on the skiing and snowboard freestyle for talking gibberish.

"He's dropped 2 points with that but, because of the degree of difficulty, it's multiplied by 4 and a half so that's 18 points dropped."

"The Chinese competitor looks disappointed with silver. It plays to the the story that, to the Chinese, silver is like coming second,"

"The viewers back home in the UK will be watching this through their eyes"

And why did he have a massive multiple orgasm every time someone did a somersault?

If you can't tell, ....... he irritated me somewhat.

Sports commentating and high IQ don't go together - but give him a break, he's probably a 'millenial' high on coffee (or something) and the Beeb gave him a big fat bung to do it!
Maplin not watching the weather forecast!

These still look better than crocs
I'm sure that I read once that these can't be worn in shops. I think it might be a bit awkward to have to keep taking these off and putting them back on every time you wanted to walk into a shop - am I right in thinking that these can't be worn indoors if you were in town shopping?

Wore them about the shops before and no one said anything, a bit like wearing football boots indoors tho

I've never actually worn football boots so don't know about that, but wouldn't these be slippery on the shop floor? Thank you.
Yes, they're very cheap, but:

You won't want to wear them indoors.
They won't help in snow.
They'll break if you wear them on a hard surface.

They are like 'soft crampons'; they are useful in those 'once in every few years' situations where the pavement is solid ice. They do look as though they'll stay on better than the ones which just have straps around your shoes though.

Something to keep in the boot of the car and never use maybe?
None in Aberdeen. I could pop to Stoke on Trent for a pair if I fancied it.
Think I'll pass.
perfect timing with the beast from the east looming...
Maplin sadly fallen themselves - but into administration
Bargain. They've charged 90p for the last two years at least.
