yeah , but they are using the building for a new Simpsons ride

I will be back once that and the new sea world water park is open.

oh yeah....not a bad deal

Hmmm, if I booked these now, would I have them for Saturday as we leave for Orlando for 3 weeks then? What to do, what to do...

The Back To The Future ride was probably the best one at Universal

When booking the site says... "For every confirmed booking you will be required to print a voucher which is presented at the destination. You will receive a link to your voucher via email once your booking is confirmed."

It depends on your needs if this is a good price. If you are just visiting IOA & Studios with no intention of visiting the city walk then its around £8 cheaper. If you want to visit city walk then the Adult 7 Day Universal Pass would probably be better option. This type of ticket is usually only available through a US site though.

The lastminute.com deal site affiates to a US site called Viator. I've done a search on the Viator site and it comes up with the same deal.

viator.com/tou…_2D

If you click on the Traveller Reviews on the above page there are good reviews by UK travellers regarding the deal.

Didnt see that. So its arounf £10 cheaper. thats pretty decent saving

Money Spinning

The Back To The Future ride was probably the best one at Universal

We went in October, hadnt been for 3 years, nothing new
Men in Black and Shrek 4D are about the only decent rides

I'd much prefer the 5 day Flexi ticket but I'd need the voucher instead of tickets. Know anywhere that does this?

the mummys good

i think in USA costco, you can get a 2 week pass for a similar price.

jasonrat

the mummys good

that was my favourite too, went on it twice, the second time there was 3 of us and we thought we should go on the single riders as we cba to queue.
The dumb assistant picked 3 of us to go as single riders on one car!

i think we paid this this time last year but was on uiversal studios us site
only went once though

well universal once and islands once

We went on that about 6 times the park was empty when we were there in October mummy ride was my fav in universal, HULK in IOA is AMAZING!!!!!

Good deal - we have booked for 6 adults to go next year using this official Universal link: secure.universalstudios.com/web…ive
we chose to collect tickets at the park - all you do is put the credit card in you used and then the tickets get printed. You can just "Print at Home" for the same price. IIRC they expire 1 year after ordering, but obviously 7 days after first use. As a tip if you intend on getting Express passes for Universal then book 1 night room at any of the official Universal hotels and you then get 2 days "Front of the Line" express passes added to your park tickets - this means you can go on all the rides without any real queing as many times as you like, as opposed to the standard express passes which only allow you to do each ride 1 as express pass holders.
For Sea World we used this: commerce.4adventure.com/ESt…424
this time we just printed them at home.
Doing both of these saved us a fair amount of money especially as there are 6 of us.
Hope this helps someone out.

Just picked up the 14-day unlimited 5 park flexi-ticket (Universal, IOA, Seaworld, Wet N Wild, Busch Gardens) for £113 per adult and £95 per child. Altogether a better option.

This code doesn't seem to work any more. However you can currently still get 5% off with code VR1D5, which then beats the Lastminute.com price.

[Doesn't look like you can book direct with Universal any more either]

I've just been looking around for Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure tickets for October 2008.

]viator.com are doing 7 day unlimited access to either Universal Studions or IOA for $84.99. If you use the FAB7 discount code you get another 7% discount. Brings the total cost down to $79.04 including all taxes.

A few months ago there were some postings for Lastminute.com doing these tickets for £45 but the link no longer works. Lastminute actually linked into this Viator website and it was them who supplied the tickets.

Simon

This offer has been around for months, used it at Xmas, two days is enough at Universal, the parks are too small compared to Disney.

I've passed by wet & wild several times and it looks rubbish, looks like a water park next to a main road. I'd rather go to typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach, or even the new sea world one.

7 days straight at a theme park - no chance!

Off to Disney Florida mid July for 3 weeks.

Just pricing up the tickets - They ain't cheap

Looking at:

Orlando FlexTickets Plus (14 Days) @ £139 / £119
Disney's Ultimate Ticket (21 Days) @ £189/£169

Total cost - 4 adults, 3 kids (age 3-7) = £2,176

These prices seem to be for the 4 park flexi-ticket!! The cheapest I can find for the 5 park is £133 per adult and £113 per child. The 4 park is £111 per adult, £95 per child. Details can be found here:-

I was in Orlando this time last week. Just a pointer Islands of Adventure is brill but the queues are very long. If we hadn't brought a fastpass ticket ($35.99 plus tax each)!! we would only have got on about 3 of 4 rides. With the fastpass we managed to do them all

Back to the Future was a good ride back in the day but that was when most of the other rides were distinctly average. When I went back two years ago I thought there were some better rides such as Spiderman, the Hulk, Doctor Doom and Revenge of the Mummy, Dueling Dragons was pretty good as well, I just wish they had finished The Simpsons ride then.

The best ride I went on was The Tower of Terror at MGM, that had improved so much since it first opened and The Aerosmith ride was pretty amazing as well considering it looked nothing special to begin with.

Anyway good deal, voted hot.

We went for the Orlando FlexTicket and Disney's 7 day ultimate. With the 7 day ultimate you can park hop between the 4 main Disney Parks over 7 days but within a 14 day period. You then get 7 admissions in total to any of Disney's water parks, sports complex, pleasure island and interactive theme park. It was plenty!!

The new SeaWorld waterpark (Aquatica) is now open. It is good fun but you go too fast down the chutes to be able to see the dolphins (according to friend)

Simpson Ride wasn't open when we were there last week

We are looking to go back over in the summer of 2009.
Last visit was 2005 had a brill time.
We will rent a villa like last time, found the extra room and swimming pool very welcome.

Off to mouseland 15th May. These were the best prices I could get when we booked, wish I'd known about the Universal deal :o(

Disney’s 21 Day Ultimate Ticket: Adult - £179 Child (3-9) - £155
2 Day 3rd Day Free Universal Tkt: Adult - £57 Child (3-9) - £52
SeaWorld One Day: Adult - £34 Child - £28
KSC Max Access Tkt: Adult - £18 Child - £14
