Nice find. Order for local collection. Thanks OP
Thanks ordered 1 for £1.49 collection on 06/04
These saws are fine for composite boards. The blade is too thin for reliable cuts in timber, because knots and grain will send them off course. I've never had a lot of joy when trying to sharpen and set the teeth on these hard point saws - I'd guess that they are supposed to just be thrown away. That does go against the grain, if you don't like waste,,,

If you are planning to saw timber, even softwood - I'd suggest getting something better. But, if you don't want to use that something better on composite board: here's your answer. Good find.
Hows the quality?

No need to throw it away, just repurpose it as a musical instrument

Needed it to do some sawing for the potatoes so hopefully that counts(lol)
I need a cheap saw for a using to cut pvc cladding, would this do the job as it's universal?

It's quite a low "teeth per inch". It will cut fast, but ideally you want to be sawing material that is greater in thickness than 3 teeth or at least 2. Otherwise, the sawblade will bounce up and down as it cuts. IIRC, this saw is 7 tpi which means cutting material over .45" . Oh, you can cut thinner, but it will be harder work.
