Great price

Looks good to me at that price - have some heat

shame isnt online

patchy store coverage, so great if you live near one of their stores, otherwise no good

Another comical claim at "surge protection".

Why doesnt surge protection work then?

It does. But there is no evidence that it works in this thing.

Saw these 10 mins ago but didnt buy as I dont need them. Hot price though.

I bought two and tested the surge protection and it works a treat!!!!

Good - can I have a sample of the magic potion you employed?

no magic needed...just a knowledge of basic electronics :-)

Go on - tell me more - I'd be interested to hear how your knowledge of basic electronics compares with mine. One thing you might want to ponder is how effective a worldwide travel adaptor would be at suppressing surges when operating at 120V, given that the surge suppressor must not conduct at 240V.

Some people just need to get out more

ha ha..agree...always one jobsworth per thread

Some people just need to get out more

What - like the people who have so much time on their hands that they feel the need to type things like "some people just need to get out more" on internet forums? (_;)

- enough said!!

Doesn't bother me at all if you aren't prepared to educate yourself enough to see through the marketing messages. You'll just continue to be fleeced. Someone might learn something though, and it's a bit arrogant to try to close down the discussion, especially when it's done with pointless vacuous playground quips like "you need to get out more" or "get a life". They're so completely facile and meaningless that they say an awful lot more about those who make them than those they are aimed at.
