Just to be helpful, the album is by Joy Division (I had to google).

You seriously had to Google the most influential band that ever came from Manchester

Don’t think it’s been remastered though?

I believe it's a rip of the 2007 remaster, might be wrong though.

No, I had to google who Unknown Pleasures was by and then Joy Division came up as the answer, I'm well aware of who Joy Division are, obviously not a fan and not fully aware of the titles of all their albums.

What all 2 of their studio albums? Must be hard to remember ;-)

You're not wrong :

1. Disorder (2007 Remaster)
2. Day of the Lords (2007 Remaster)
3. Candidate (2007 Remaster)
4. Insight (2007 Remaster)
5. New Dawn Fades (2007 Remaster)

Disc: 2
1. She's Lost Control (2007 Remaster)
2. Shadowplay (2007 Remaster)
3. Wilderness (2007 Remaster)
4. Interzone (2007 Remaster)
5. I Remember Nothing (2007 Remaster)
Had this on order with Rough Trade (£23 odd with postage), so cancelled and ordered Amazon Prime.
Why the red vinyl though, surely for Joy Division it should be black (or at least a very industrial dark grey).
Thanks OP, ordered a copy

Wow - really 40 years ago! I still remember when these were being played by John Peel. They still sound just incredible today. Its hard to say which is better, this or Closer.

Only 2 studio albums but a total of 53 songs - so they have a lot of material, much of it on re-issued material, compilations or from John Peel sessions.

The cover should be black as should the vinyl. The cover is iconic and looks awful in any other colour except black

I don't think you can say which one is better...just different. BTW, it will be the 39th anniversary of Ian's death on Saturday. I saw the same film on BBC2 (Strosek by Herzog) that Ian watched before he died...

The original image is black on white and they inverted the colours for the cover. Maybe in recognition of the original?

Yes, it did... the film is a tough watch but I didn't have any of the challenges that Ian was going thru or the long list of medication. I had my first year exams coming up in a few weeks - that was my biggest challenge. When I listened to Closer a few weeks later, that's when the pain that Ian was going thru touched me.

Apparently the original concept was for a white album cover.

A lot of New Order vinyl reissues are also on Amazon ranging from £10 - £15.
Gone down to £15.58! Bargain
Excellent deal, one thing possibly holding this deal back from even more heat is that the name of the band is spelt wrong in the title, its missing an "i" might be with correcting

.....after The Smith's of course

I think the Smiths were probably the best but if you have Joy Division/New Order as a collective thing, I'd argue they were more influential. All 3 are stupendous bands in their own right though, much better than the overatted Oasis in my opinion.

It's not being released until 14th June, might be why it's not on there yet
Anyone know how limited this is?
