They probably will... But I just hope it helps some local people!
excellent deal, well worth the drive from limerick, may leave in the morning
Is this nationwide?
For anyone in Grimsby, St Martins in Scartho Road at weekend always have good prices
Disappointed - I drove to Darlington to get this deal, filled up with cheap fuel and saved about £5.50 on my local garage prices, but when I got home from the 200 mile round trip more than a quarter of the petrol in the tank had disappeared.

Should be 50p a litre in this country but we all put up with the robbing fat cat **** that run the banks and therefore the government. Merry Christmas.

thanks for your valuable insights based on actual evidence

what not a lot of people seem to realise - if you don't pay bankers good bonuses they will leave for banks in other countries, all the talent will depart London and you will end up with second rate workers running the banks. Then you will be again complaining about how bad the banks are

I absolutely hate this argument! It is used for any over paid job including footballers and it drives me nuts. If everyone realised that nobody is worth that kind of money then they would have nowhere else to go, it is pathetic! /me ends rant.

This is a fallacy, as the fuel is drawn from the bottom of the tank anyway!

Wish I was still teaching in Darlo now!
Cheers, I'll be filling up this morning.
Good price. Hot
Still works out at more then two and a half times what I pay for 'fuel' for my EV. The 14000 miles I travelled last year only cost me less then 500 pounds. For a diesel at 60 mpg that would cost £1100.

You forgot to take into account the yearly pro-rata cost of a new battery when it is shagged after 5 years, about £720, so £1220 a year in total.... you will feel silly about all that wasted time at charging points. Trading it before the battery is done will not work either, depreciation costs are eye watering.

If you went down the lease route ask yourself, honestly, would you be paying the same for rental for a similar spec diesel? I suspect not.

Pure electric cars don't work, a change from petrol and diesel is needed but chargeable electric cars are not the answer.
Someone get for me! I'll pay for postage.
Get a Diesel car they usually do more miles to the gallon

So the overpaid obnoxious bankers that caused the financial crisis are doing a grand job . I see. Thanks for educating me on that. Billions in bailouts for them but nothing like that for 2000+ steelworkers.

Why bother to subsidise UK steel?
