Unlimited 76mb fibre broadband half price for 6 month at £9.99 with Plusnet.
£9.99Plusnet Deals
Just noticed this deal is back on today for those that missed out over the new year. Note also their 40MB service is also half price for 6 months too.
£9.99 a month for 6 months Plus £13.99 a month line rental or £10.49 if you pay for 12 months line rental in advance.
Unlimited Fibre Broadband (upto 76Mb down and 19.5Mb up) : From £19.99 per month after the 6 months. To get these prices you need to be a market 2/3 customer.
Phone: £13.99 per month or £10.49 pm with advance annual payment (£125.88) with free weekend and evening calls to landlines.
Connection is free when you take both phone and broadband and you also get half price fibre (£9.99) for 6 months. (If you don't take Plusnets phone line together with the fibre, then connection is £50 and you will still need to have an active line from another provider using BT's network)
Free Router, but £5.99 p&p. It's compulsory that you are sent the router, but you can use your own if you already have one that you would prefer to use.
There is £38 TCB/Quidco cashback still.
18 month contract
Hopefully they have fixed the order bug that put everyone initially on a 40mb service. Keep an eye on this.
Edit! The offer ends in May! You still have time to get this.

"4.Only customers who order the service between 12th March, 2013 and 11th April, 2013 are eligible for this offer."
Like BT they include 0845 and 0870 in their 'free' (ie bundled) evening/weekend landline calls.

If "installation charge", then are you sure it isn't for a phone line ? (eg if you are were on Virgin/NTL)
"6.If you need a new phone line installing at your property, there is a £49.99 installation charge."
MKD
yes, it'll be for the phone line. But still...
Caller Display extra £1 (included in BT line rental)
Anonymous Call Reject £4 (included in BT line rental)
Special Numbers Bar N/A (included in BT line rental)
are you on Sky Fibre?
Looks like I will miss this too as open reach have now changed the uplift of cabinet p47 in bracknell from march 2013 to march 2014. Not impressed
Might well have to switch from Virgin to BT but last time he spoke to them they said he'd lose his current deal. Hopefully they might be more forthcoming if we yry again...
I pay a lot more for Virgin too, over half of my downloads are corrupt, the service is almost none existent. My son was gifted a PS Vita, something I was unhappy about, but, it was a gift. PS+ is absolutely useless. Virgin have a known problem with corrupt downloads, which is ever more present (in my area, but also others) with Sony servers. I've been unable to download one game, so the service from Sony is also another cost which Virgin prevent me from utilizing. The main gripe is, they have no idea what the issue is, so it is likely to last months, if not years.
I wonder if BT are willing to negotiate?
Yes they do.
You can pay for a premium add on where they throttle you less for an extra £5 per month.
Goto this page and expand out the package you want to look at to see what they do:

I'm with them, service is ok, drops now and again, router is terrible so advise buying your own and using that instead.
I think they are the best that currently offer fibre, best of a bad bunch :-)
...and you're using SH as router, right?
EE are also doing a half price fibre for 6 months on their 38mb service at £7.50 a month. They charge the full 13.99 for line rental. Of course you have to be a mobile customer to get that price. Otherwise £10/£20. So not really cheaper.
Im with BT and they do not do traffic management with new contracts from 1st of Feb 2013. Sky also do not do traffic management. So if you are someone who does not want to be slowed down, then I say go with BT or Sky!
lol, yes I am.
I don't have another router at the moment. Have you experienced this problem?
Well you have other options like Zen/Eclipse and Vispa who are smaller providers but they charge a bit more for their products but may offer a better service.
Zen internet £23.99 a month for only 20gb usage. Of course with Zen you pay for what you get. All about finding the right solution.
Plusnet is a mainstream product priced affordably. The question is in 18 months will this network be overloaded?
Lol, yes I am. Have your experienced this problem?
no. I use my own router.
what are you talking about man? I signed up for plusnet last time they had same offer. almost 2 months now. no traffic management, no throttling. can't recommend more.
Sky is £20/month - 12 month contract. 40meg speed
VOTED COLD
Sky do 76mb as well if you phone them and ask for sky fibre optic pro, it's £30 a month, but if you have line rental with them and do it 12 months in advance then it's only £9.95 a month for the line rental, so it makes the pro only £25 a month on a 12 month contract .
I guess you're using wifi for the speed test not a hard wire?
but this deal is about plusnet, right?
9.99/mth for 6 months, and then 19.99 on 18 months contract. download up to 76Mb/s, upload up to 19Mb/s
if you pay landline in advance after breaking down it gives you 10.50/mth
conclusion.. plusnet the best.
I'm getting solid 72/17Mb/s
I had that when I moved to London. You need to use the Superhub as a modem and then use a separate router. I used my old Virgin Media router (the D-Link one from before the Superhub) with DD-WRT flashed to it, but you can just buy any standard £15 cable router and it'll work, and that'll solve the problem. Annoying as hell that you have to pay to fix it but oh well, at least it can be fixed.
Oh funny that, because they say they manage traffic and explain how on their own website

You should ring them up and let them know they've made a mistake :-)
That's rubbish, I need at least 2 of those gigabite things.
Only for new customer. I went with shareholders deal and extended the contract for 12 months.
They have traffic prioritisation at a local level - no management as of Dec 2012 on the unlimited package.
If you're downloading via P2P and get a Skype call then your Skype data gets priorty over the P2P - this is done only at a local level and you get whatever capacity is at the exchange / your connection speed. Plusnet have categorically stated that you'll get full bandwidth without traffic shaping.
