I was looking for a new broadband package and thought this was a decent deal. Unlimited broadband (up to 17mb), BT Sport on sky or bt tv is free for 12 months and potentially up to £130 quidco cash back.

£9.99 up front cost applies. 12 month contract.

For football fans, this might be a good deal as normally BT charge extra for their BT sport if you want to watch on sky or BT.

Hopefully it helps a few people.

Not fibre. Max 17mb speed if close to the exchange, otherwise considerably less.

Worst company I've ever dealt with. I know some will say 'I never had a problem with them'. But it's when you have a problem that you find out their worth.

Wouldn't go back to them if it was free!

You can get Fibre for £24.99/month too it seems but it is capped at 30Gb per month

Hello, who would you recommend. I have choice of BT, Plusnet (also BT) and John Lewis (PLusnet/BT) and possibly EE ?
can only have the basic broadband because of our location . Any I have considered changing to have a very basic router. As for the offer , don't forget . this for NEW CUSTOMERS only ! ok, rant over ! I forgot , I can have Post Office as well, but they get poor reviews.

Deals like this with BT used to be scorching, until they've upped the basic prices... so even after the cashback and mastercard this is no cheaper than a "cheap" deal elsewhere but more hassle and more to go wrong.

Good if you want BT Sport as well I guess

Is BT sport full HD

Believe you have to pay extra for HD.
I gather they must provide a BT tv box

whys the out of contract price gone up by £2?

BT Sport is not in HD! who likes watching in SD on big screen, even mobile phones screen are HD or even UHD. No Fibre as well.

You also do not get all of the BT sport channels on top of that.

Hi,

I wonder if someone can offer some advice on this.

I have a 12 month Sky package which ends on October 6th - it was a £24.99 Box Set TV / broadband package and Sky have not even offered any discount on a new price of £90 per month so I have cancelled my Sky from the end of contract.

I am thinking of ordering this BT Broadband package but if I order now will I be able to tell BT that I only want the broadband to start from October 6th?

I don't want to order the BT Broadband this week and be told that it is starting immediately.

Also, what happens if you move house halfway through the 12 month contract - anyone know?

Thanks for any help.

Btw, I don't watch much TV so am only really interested in a broadband package. I want something that included BT line rental.

You can sign up today and change the installation date to 6th October and if you move house all you do is call them and they will transfer your broadband to the new house. I hope this helps with your enquiry (BT customer services)
