Hi

Just had email about exclusive £155 cashback on new EE contract. 18 months unlimited broadband line rental and weekend calls. Have to pay £7 delivery for router. Works out at £12.78 by my calculations.

Would appreciate any views on EE broadband. Would be switching from Sky.
Be aware this doesn't include Fibre Broadband packages.
Good for those that are happy with slower speeds.

I swapped from Sky to EE in January when the cashback was £135......the changeover was seamless and I can't tell any difference between the two.........

"Unfortunately this merchant has a potential tracking issue. We are busy chasing this up with the merchant and still want to give you the opportunity to earn cashback on your purchase. If your transaction does not track within 7 days, please submit a Missing Cashback Claim where our team will endeavour to chase the missing cashback. "
Buyer beware oO
I can only fimd £150 cashback for fibre or £50 for normal broadband. How are people getting the 155?

I've just signed up ... offered me a deal to pay the 18 months up front for £307, cashback has tracked too at £155. Means it will cost £8.50 a month for unlimited broadband, line rental and weekend calls. Very pleased

If they raise the price though you won't be able to leave as you would loose the £307 you have paid in advance.

Not sure I get your logic ... I have already paid up front at a cost that I am more than happy with how could they ask for more?! After the 18 months I will be out of contract and will shop around again. Topcashback of £155 has tracked btw.
How are EE? Looking at moving from plusnet at the moment

Ah I see, makes sense, sorry I didn't realise you had paid for the whole sub in advance. I have just gone for it myself, how long did cash back take to track?

I think the cashback has been reduced on TopCashback now.
Nice one. Just signed up for the 70 odd MB one, works out about 26 a month after cashback (bit cheaper if I'd have paid up front but want to stay flexible).

Cheers!

Still showing as 155 to me.

I'm not sure, If I click the link "Get Deal" it takes me direct to the EE Page. On the Topcashback website I can only see cashback of £125.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Do you know if this will still work to give £155 cb? Only because the tcb app now says it's only £125 for fibre.

Also, does anyone know, does paying in advance mean that price increases can't affect you??

I am not sure about £155 as you say on the web site says £125 but the link I posted is for £155. Link still seems to be working

As for price increase I am not sure how they could ... you have already paid. Surely that would be breaking the contract?

Cancel it then and go with someone else.

There's other deals out there!

Mine tracked at £155 ... still pending.

Can cancel if it has not tracked or report it by raising a claim?
These have been creepy. I've long thought someone could use your number from entering it in their 'can you get our broadband' type page, but till today nobody has. Then someone from EE phones and says I used this number checking their broadband deals and....away she went. Quite decisive and rude. I ended up just letting her rattle through her script because there was no way she was letting me actually get a word in.
Ordered the fibre max package along with anytime calls to landlines/mobiles/international £39 a month for 18 months + £32 one off cost. Total £734. Minus £160 the cashback (quidco) and it works around £32 a month per month.

mattgrant, could you please elaborate. was the deal offered whilst ordering online, or was it by a phone call?

Just recieved this message of the tcb website. Sounds like a 'get out of jail free' card has been set up by tcb/ee.

What do you guys think?
I spoke to EE to get an update on the order. My order had got stuck in the initial stage. The advisor was very helpful, sorted it out over the phone. As long as the cashback gets paid out before the next price rise, I don't mind the wait.
