I've had this contract since Oct but have been getting speeds of 2-6mb :/
Vodafone will send me a signal booster so will see if that helps

Sounds like the Vodafone sure signal box, it uses your home internet, it's to fix call issues, no point in regards to data you may as well use wifi

Cheers mate!
if you don't mind being limited to the 10Mbps you can get it with Entertainment package (Spotify/Prime video etc) for £2 extra
£4 Quidco too

Every little helps
I got this deal last year. So far I've been able to zero cashback back. Everytime I try and claim they say it can not upload my statement. Absolute joke.

I got this contract a few days ago, £30 would be too much if the cashback is iffy. Never had issue with claiming cashback with other companies in the past so was hoping this would be the same. I'd call them or email the bill to them also as a backup if its their fault.
Went for this last time, after swapping my number from Vodafone to an Asda sim. Vodafone rejected the application, presumably because they did not like me getting the sim at a cheaper price than retention could offer! Fonehouse were no help, and could not offer any explanation as to why my application was declined! Now on BT, £15 for 50Gb.

No mate, still on virgin, no idea when 5G is coming, EE is meant to be the first but no sign.

Its usually a credit check fail, some providers dont let multiple sims unless you hit a certain credit score.

I've got 3 of these contracts purchased in May 2019. All 3 contracts are days apart and everytime I sent my bills through, cashback came within 3 weeks each time. So far so good!

As for the bill upload, I always did mine on a laptop other than the phone. Very easy and it takes a minute of your time, if that, to claim £40 each time. Result!

Cashback details are listed in the FAQs section, very easy to follow and self explanatory. But others who have said they do not come with the aim, is correct. But when I got my 3 Sims, I just set a reminder on the certain months to avoid missed cashback claims.

Tempted.Really tempted. Paying three £16 for unlimited everything. Also have O2 for work, and Voda PAYG as a backup.
On my train journey from home > work .. Vodafone has signal 90% of the time according to open signal (three is 64%, and O2 is 55%). The only problem is that vodafone at work and at home are usually slowest of all 3 SIMs that I have. But they're the most connected and well thats important too. Need a trio-sim capable phone or bloody eSIM why aren't more phones eSIM?
Anyone have any speed tests of vodafones 4g? im considering going for this deal when my virgin contract expires this month as im unsatisfied with the max 70mps speed i get. Most of the time its just 30mbps.

It really depends on where you live. I have a Three sim and a Vodafone sim, both unlimited, in a B525 pointing at the nearest mast with large antenna. Three get around 50-60MB, 30MB up, Voda gets 70MBish down and 10MB up.

I got this deal too, around 3 months ago. Got the first cash ash through very easily. I used a laptop and downloaded the statement before uploading it on their website.

My Experian score was 999, and a 95% chance of getting any credit card. I am not boasting here, just pointing out that I couldn't have a much higher credit score. Fonehouse could only offer the possibility that the application was turned down, because Vodafone did not want customers porting out and in again for a better deal, if it was coming from a third party.

I just did this but with mobiles.co.uk and it's gone through fine. Maybe it's just pot luck? Who knows.

I ported from Vodafone to Three pay as you go and then Vodafone again which will port over on Monday.

Strange. Around the end of September I finished a 12 month Vodafone contract I bought through mobiles.co.uk. At renewal they wouldn't play ball, obviously, so I ported out to Giffgaff. Did you cancel the DD after porting out? I left mine alone, so they took another payment which was then auto-refunded a few weeks later.

After about 6 weeks (1 goody bag and the £5 free credit) I applied for the 4Gb Vodafone deal through fonehouse. It was approved and I ported back.
My Experian score is slightly worse at 975 (presumably a result of having had the audacity to change current account and credit card within the past year)

Luck of the draw, I suppose! I went from Vodafone to ASDA payg, and was knocked back when I applied through Fonehouse, after I had given them my PAC code. I hope all goes well for you!

I did not cancel the DD...but thanks, must check that it is not still ongoing! I tried to to port back after 4 days ( I was advised 24 hours was ample from members on here, so am guessing maybe I should have left it longer, as you did!
Now on BT, £15 for 50Gb, so no complaints! Just have to but Spotify separately, and use a 3 payg sim for data in America.

Same problem here. Would have loved to sign up for this deal, but Voda (via Fonehouse) turned me down.
My partner also tried to to no avail.
We both have excellent credit ratings.

Thanks - might give that a go.
I'm trying hard to find unlimited data sim only with BT or EE for no more than £25, to no avail. I really want to ditch my 3 AICE at £18/month in favour of BT/EE, but don't want go beyond £25/month.
Even 200gb/would suffice. I have a spare EE payg used on a dongle and someone suggested that by contacting by chat EE's cs, assuming I would see a £34/month option/upgrade/whatever option in my account, I could negotiate to have EE AICE for £25/month by providing them the 20% student code.
Problem is I didn't see such tariff option in my account nor know how to contact the chat.
Anyone who might give me some hope?
Hey @MrSwitch didn't you have Virgin mobile? I found their 120gb tariff for £22/month with rolling unused data and was wondering if consider Virgin as an alternative to BT/EE, assuming their service works and if they are still using EE's network, as I recall someone saying that Virgin would have replaced EE with their own network(or was it with Vodafone?anyway). Any info you could provide.
I need faster internet at home, I got 100gb Vodafone on phone and 3 AICE permanently in a dongle at home as broadband.

Virgin mobile still runs off the EE network, and the best EE SIM is 100gb for £25 that I have seen.

On the sim only megathread a user said to me:
"You'll need to sign up to student beans with your student email then once you've got the code either see if you have the £32 per month plan available to you in your upgrades section on the EE website or initiate a web chat with EE and ask for the deal then give them the 20% discount code and that will take you down to the golden number of £25 per month. "

I replied:
"I already have Studentbeans and Unidays accounts. I don't have any EE contract(only a payg I used once). When I went through Studentbeans I saw this under Sim Only plans:
