Stopped in for tea last night and was told the Happy Hour deal has been replaced by an extended lunch buffet for the next 3 weeks. The price where I am in Ipswich is £6.99 for adults and £3.99 for children, however their website says this may vary by location: pizzahut.co.uk/res…y=1

Great with half-term around the corner, fill your boots (metaphorically that is)!

"Choose from: Thin Italian or
Pan Pizza:

Margherita 125cal
Double Pepperoni 135cal
Hawaiian 125cal
Veggie Supreme 125cal
or our Managers' Special 115cal
"

So the manager's special is possibly a little less cheese or sauce on the pizza as the calorie count is lower than the other options.

Haven't been to a Pizza Hut buffet in years. Have some heat from me

Thanks for the info op. Might go during school hols.

We have a Pizza Hut across from work, 17 of us went across and did the "Pizza Hut Challenge".

All in all we consumed almost 300 slices of pizza with the victor eating 27 slices alone!

Awesome day...

For us as a family of 3 'adults' and 1 child, the happy hour worked out cheaper as it had a drinks included.

For those non-challenge seekers with an average appetite, the portion of the Happy Hour is perfect, you can take-away the left-overs from the main too.

In my area, HH is also cheaper at £6, rather than the Buffet Lunch at £7.50, whilst the latter obviously no take-away of left-over food allow. So why pay more for the more you can't consume.

It's good to know though, thanks OP.

27 slices is almost 3,500 calories (depending on which pizza was consumed), not including drinks, salad, etc!!!

This should come with a health warning!

I cut the crusts

I always cut off the crusts and leave a huge plate of crusts, never had a complaint anyone had problems with left-overs?

My local Pizza Hut restaurant serving buffet until 8pm at moment

I think hotdealseeker meant they take away left-over food in a doggy bag

Completely worth it

good deal

Off to Pizza Hut in Exeter tomorrow for a birthday party for my son. Phoned up and booked for Happy Hour (3-5 pm now) and was told that it is £6 per adult (over 12) and £3.99 for 12 and under. For that price you get a choice of pizza or pasta dish, a side (2 slices of garlic bread or potato wedges), unlimited salad and unlimited drinks. If you pay £1 extra you get one visit to the ice-cream factory as well, so it's going to cost £7 per adult and £4.99 for my young son. Because it is a birthday, free balloons are supplied as well and I've also order a birthday cake from them (vanilla sponge cake with icing and candles) for £6.99.

the fully loaded pizza slices at PH have an average of 320 cals per slice. even at 280 Cals, 27 slices would be 7560 cals. I know as I'm calorie counting in my quest to get healthy.

I work in pizza hut, and this offer was only for the easter holidays!

their pizza is ****, enjoy it.

First posted this back at the end of March but it's only just gone hot. I believe it has now expired nationally but may still be available locally in some places. Good luck and thanks for your votes.

this is why the above deal isn't as good as it first appears. with a drink and ice cream the price is just over £10.

Haven't been to pizza hut for a couple of years at least; since they reduced the choices of pizza that was available - used to love the beef and red onion one - among a couple of others with meat.
Seems the only meat option now is pepperoni or Hawiian.
May get lucky with a managers special I guess although, with the calorie count, I doubt much meat is included.

Won't go back as it seems even worse now.

Not voted either way as I'm not sure a deal is something that is simply an existing one that has extended hours.
I'm sure the HUKD police can educate me on that.....

find the happy hour deal cheaper personally

No, the £6 includes unlimited drinks and it is £1 extra for the ice-cream (one visit), so it is £7 for an adult. I've just called to book the table for a little later than I had previously and double-checked on this. I was told that the extended buffet lunch was on for the school Easter holidays and obviously has now finished. The £7 deal including the ice-cream (£4.99 for a child) is the Happy Hour which is between 3-5 pm.

27 slices....does that include the crust?
