How does redemption work?

You submit your bills in months 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 to get the required cashback.

£18 a month still leaves your account every month but many will sell you on the "effective" price of £10 a month ..

And easy to do on fonehouse website. They pay cashback quickly to your account
Voted HOT but this is not for me. Automatic cashback would be fine but they rely on people like me that would just forget.
Also had no problems with Fonehouse from the 3 payments i have had so far. Easy to submit bill each month and quick to pay cashback.
Cracking deal. Just ashame 3’s signal in my area is virtually non existent.

Same as every mobile network provider on planet Earth.

It depends on your location.
I can only give you my 2 year experience and the speeds where awful , took forever for things to load or download, always said I had 4G yet phone calls would break up , tried sim in 2 phones and it was the same result. That was in a wide area around the uk and cities .
I moved to EE and yes it’s more expensive, but you can tell the difference .
My EE speeds are sometimes faster than my virgin broadband speeds .

It probably is helpful.

For me, I've recently left Three, but they were very good. I had no issues where I live. I did have signal problems in some of the more remote areas where I holidayed. I'd say, if I live lived in them areas, I wouldn't use Three. If you live where I live, I'd say to use Three.

You're probably best asking local friends and family about Three, or trying a pay as you go SIM from Three before signing up for 12 months.
Their coverage is shambles. They know that due to number of customers leaving them and complaining to them that is why they give you Unlimited Data for that price.
Paid £10 for unlimited everything a few months ago due to a glitch
I’ve been using cashback deals for years as I have to pay for contracts for all my family. Generally I don’t have any problems. This year I went with Fonehouse and I am into my 10th month of my contract. I have only received one payment. So many problems. I would do a cashback deal again but not with Fonehouse.

Not too difficult to set up reminders on Google Calendar or whatever is on your phone. I use it heavily for everything.
Don't expect 5g until 2022

So where do you live? if it's that bad...People come on here and moan but never say where they live or near but just say they are rubbish what's the point it may be rubbish to you but like me who lives in Essex its fine....Its ok to say they are rubbish but tell us why.....Most people that come on here reguly know how bad they are in major cities like London.
I've stuck their unlimited data plan SIM into a 4G WiFi router and it's been OK. I don't have amazing Three signal where I live but, bizarrely, it's been the best way to keep a steady connection with my work VPN. And the upstream has constantly been better than the downstream data rates (usually 3x faster).

A friend of mine has Three with a router, but connection is not stable and time to time disconnects. Not sure about going to Three as I would be kind of pissed of all the time reloading web to start again my fave TV series or a movie

Could be the router that he's using. I'm using this one: amazon.co.uk/gp/…3H/

Coverage is really bad in central Manchester. I had 1 or 2 bars on average and used 3G most of the time. I switched to the 60Gb Vodafone deal yesterday.

Submit occasional bills to merchant and usually OK until the merchant ceases trading, then no cashback.
Affordable mobile giving same deal and also 26 pounds from Topcashback reducing the price 8 pound per month but can someone tell which retailer is better afforablemobile or fonehouse?
Someone told to get cashback you need send paper bill by post but I do not know is true or not . I have contract from fonehouse and claim cashback by their website. Quick and easy

Is this SIM 5G enabled?
Have taken two contracts with fonehouse. Paid first cashback on both. Rejected second cashback for both saying bill too early. After multiple mails they accepted there mistake and said they will instruct finance to pay. 2 months have passed and no payment yet for second cashback. No replies to mails after they said they will pay but not credited yet. Applied for third cashback and not heard anything yet from 20 days. I would suggest everyone beware of cashback form these guys. They will dupe you into lucrative cashback contract and get commission from network and I am sure they will soon pack up leaving you with expensive contracts. I am doing cashback contracts from almost 10 years never had any problems with phones4u, e2save, mobiles.co.uk and mobile phones direct. But fonehouse are really terrible and they won't even reply to your mails and during this period there contact number just disconnects after ivr.

Go with any other cashback provider like e2save, mobiles.co.uk and mobile phones direct. First two e2save and mobile.co.uk are owned by Dixons group which owns Currys/pcworld/carphonewarehouse.

What did they mean by saying, 'bill too early?
When exactly are you supposed to send the invoices in, when Three issues the invoice, or when it is paid out of your bank account?

If you look at cashback terms bill has to be submitted not too soon or too late within cashback period. Check t&c for nitty-gritty. My bill was for correct month and claimed within correct window. Later they admitted there mistake and said they have dates wrong in their system which invalidate my claim as according to them that was my third claim which I made too early. But that was indeed my second claim. After they admitted to there mistake they promised they will amend my contract date in there system and instruct finance to pay my account. No payment been made after that mail and no response to multiple emails after that admission. This is story of my first contract. For my second contract they rejected saying same thing and I have explained them that got it wrong and now no replies to my multiple mails. Now third claim for the two contracts is also pending from three weeks.

I think they are soon going to packup and they should not be allowed on hukd.
