Removed references to Tesco CC - have emailed La Tasca for clarification if they can be used with this offer.

looks like some good noms to be had
never went into one of these places as unsure how they 'work'

3 of these is equivalent to a main meal?
how many can you order after eating the first 3?
what if you dont like one?!
how long do they take to bring it? sounds like big gaps for extended eating X)

ps. dont fill up on bread - everyone knows thats a trap!

Fantastic deal with Tesco Clubcard Is it ok to use them together though?

Mmm good deal!!!

Banned

Ice cold, the choice of dishes are very poor and using cheap ingredient . They have done far better offers and don't forget your drinks are very over priced.

Looking at the T&Cs and you do need a loyalty card.

3 tapas per person + the purchase of a drink

However, no more tapas can be eaten until everyone at the table has eaten their 3 tapas and the table is empty. Only 1 person at a time can then order more.

So either sit on a table on your own; or make sure you go with hungry people; or get each person to order different tapas if you wish to sample the menu and aren't sure how much food you are all going to eat.

Looks good and voted hot. Never been to one of the restaurants so cannot comment on the size of each tapas.

T&C of the Tesco Offer state:

• La Tasca tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer - including promotional, specials and set
menus, all meals must be ordered from the a la carte menu only.

I'd be very surprised if they let you use a tesco clubcard voucher in conjunction with this offer!

I don't think you'd be allowed to use the Tesco vouchers with this deal!

Penny-Pincher!!

+1

seems like a lot of ways to not bring you any more food

Pity there isnt one anywhere near me

+2....I seem to remember this debate the last time they did AYCE deals - some time ago.

And, £10 plus drinks doesn't sound much of a deal to me. It doesn't include desserts either.

My only problem with La Tasca (apart from the extortionate normal prices) has been the variation in staffing skills. Our local, in a busy shopping centre, didn't do good business and closed down. I'm sure that was due to punters getting poor service and not returning. I know that applied to us!

Pity our local ones went to the wall:(

The voucher clearly states that it can't be used against a promotion, may want to change the deal to be either £10 off - or- tapas for a tenner.

On topic, the choice has gone down a bit, used to include most the major dishes, now only has 3-4 of the "main" ones that most La Tasca regulars would order. There again I remember when they first opened and the patatas bravas was like a potato mountain and not the 1-2 piddly spuds you get now!

Looks perfect

I don't know if it's just me, but every time I've been to a La Tasca, the food has been absolutely disgusting (at 3 different locations). All blatantly just heated in a microwave... soggy patatas bravas, and tasteless chorizo.
I'll reserve voting on this because, even at this price, I don't think I could be tempted to ever go back to one again.

Don't bother going to the Oxford branch of La Tasca the food is inedible!

I'll give it a miss- being lectured by La Tasca to eat up before I order another, what a joke. Only reason why they are acting like your mother when you were 5 years old, is that you'll have three tapas, only then can you order, it'll take ages. You'll give up after being in there 2 hours after the second round. Nasty, nasty 'offer' - I've never seen such T&C' s for an all you can eat in my life. As another says, it's also all the cheap ingredients - even down to failing to name the 'white fish' used. Good effort by original poster, awful contempt for customers by La Tasca, so cold from me.

Awful place, thankfully closed down in our area...

only 24hrs to eat dinner, not worth it

I loved La Tasca for the fabulous atmosphere and the food was ok. Recently, it has gone downhill. They want you to order, eat and leave before you can relax. I`m talking about Glasgow city centre. The deal is good but I won`t be going back. Sorry I won`t vote on this one.

The one in Exeter shut recently. If they cannot make it work there they could be struggling.

Good deal completely ruined by the ridiculous t's & c's. Designed to favour their press ads, not you.

La Tasca is not great Tapas and the portions are pretty pathetic compared to the independent places I've been to. For about the same price you could get far better quality and leave the restaurant well and truly stuffed if you go to a family run Tapas bar. Tip for anybody in Oxford, try Al Andalus on Little Clarendon Street rather than La Tasca in the Castle.

Remove "the Oxford Branch of" from your statement and it'll be 100%correct!:)

This company gets even more hate than Ryanair!

Doh!

Unlimited Tapas 7pm Sun - 7pm Mon, during restaurant opening times only

What?

Is this a legal thing to stop you sitting in the restaurant with one olive, all night, then starting on the Tapas again as soon as the chef rocks up in the morning?

If you're in feeling up for tapas in Birmingham, i think barestilo.co.uk/ is a lot lot better than la tasca...

The T&Cs do seem a bit restrictive, however having said that, most places with so called unlimited 'order as much as you like' I suppose are like this... some places actually charge you for leftover food (as opposed to restricting your ordering speed)

TBH, we have only been to the one at Bluewater and as my husband is gluten free, he has a lot of options. We also use the tastecard so receive 6 dishes for the price of 3. Usually either just have water with the meal or 1 juice and a water. Generally the cost is about £15 for the 2 of us. I love the king prawns in beer batter with the seafood sauce but they're not GF, then we share the rest. The pig cheeks with fries are nice and quite a large portion for a tapa. The spanish omelette is nice also, but some dishes are a hit and miss.

quote from article “People were ordering five, 10 times what they could eat and the food was just being thrown out because we had an 'all you can eat’ offer. You had proper customers having their experience ruined by the behaviour of people who just come in for the discount.”

sounds like a good reason to limit ordering for me, bins full of wasted food whilst millions rely on foodbanks ?

Wow what a bargain!
