Hi all. Just like to say a big thank you to you all.
I am SMGREEN1969. (Simon) and you have all certainly kept me busy for the past 10 days or so....

To answer a few questions. I will often go off line in the evening. This enables me to catch up and clear any backlogs...I'd never get close up if I didn't. I currently remain offline overnight otherwise I'd never be able to clear the backlog in the mornings. !!

I always try to return codes as quickly as possible. But When busy or when the server isn't working as it should there will inevitably be delays. On a whole most are happy with this. There are of course always a few who aren't but hey ho can,t keep everyone happy.

Any way. Thank you again for your custom, it is appreciated

Just got a 12g one from Tesco m8s

Well, that's what I call future proofing. Mine only does 3g. On second thoughts, you'd best cancel it. Tesco will get confused and probably send you a tin of peaches instead.

8K !!!!!! I wish - eBay an paypal take 20% between them - I have to pay for the codes - 4500 codes sold certainly does not give me anywhere neat that....if only !!

While eBay states I am holiday - i'm not - please see the note on my eBay shop home page (and reply to any eBay message received)

The Motorola server isn't currently returning any codes - if sometimes stalls in the mornings - I have gone offline to avoid a growing backlog - I currently have about 50 in queue .....

So...if you see me off-line - check out my Shop home page - it'll give you the reason why

If you need your phone unlocking, can highly recommend Simon Green on EBay...used him twice, very satisfied...sales pitch over!
I should be on commission..but its just a friendly comment. No I don't know him other than via EBay.

Seeing that this phone has been given rave reviews and it will come with a 12 month warranty is a good enough reason for people to buy it rather than go down the second hand route.

3 eBay cases opened against me today..
    .
2 stating - item not as described/not received - Easy to resolve - no IMEI number received and no response to any e-mail or eBay messages requesting it.......can't supply a code with no IMEI !!

1 Stating PHONE (yes PHONE - not code) still has not been received !!! - Really Einstein !!! - did you buy a phone or code ???

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE People - READ the listing - Supply the required information - you'll get what you ordered.....

I am a one man band - work from home and try to give the best service possible - but when I constantly have to battle against people who simply don't read the listing/make unreasonable demands/are rude I really have to wonder why I bother...

If I am off-line I can normally be contacted directly by e-mail - always happy to help when I can

    Thanks

JohnDavies, the Tesco supplied phones ARE locked to Tesco. I'm using one right now. As soon as I put my 3 sim in, it asked for unlock code which I got for the bargain price of £2.04 from this guy on EBay.

In answer to GiffGaff/O2 sim question. No, you cannot use them without unlocking. My wife is on O2. We had to unlock her Moto G too.

not necessarily a better deal if you like to have your updates straight away without having to flash ROMS etc. this is locked to tesco, therefore any updates that are released, you will have to wait for Tesco to update the phone rather than getting it straight from Motorola without any delay.
this probably wont effect the majority of users, but its still something that needs to be noted if you dont want to be waiting months for updates that an extra 15/30£ could have prevented.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. My Nexus 4 has got worse the more it gets updated.

simple really; not everyone wants a second hand phone that's a year old and costs more. This is on par with a Nexus 4 (some argue it's better). You get your new from a retailer with the usual guarantees.
Basically you'd be silly to go buy a second hand n4.

Lol I'm trying to avoid needing to use the USB charger.

Any micro usb charger should be fine. Samsung's have a nice long wire but current outputs a little low so will take a bit longer to charge than some others.

I'm waiting for a new sim from Virgin so no hurry but will I get an email or will it be an Ebay message? Don't use Ebay much and have never bought an unlock code before. I have sent a message with my IMEI number.

If you didn't put the IMEI in the paypal message when buying (which I forgot to as well) then either send him an ebay message or directly to the email address in the listing. Don't do both because apparently that's confusing.
He responded really quickly to my ebay message because I forgot the paypal message as well

Judging by your rant on here, I can only guess the quality of your query if a code didn't work.

I've never found a better seller on eBay to deal with ever. If I need an unlock code he is the only one I'd go to as his communications have never been anything other than exemplary. Even when I've completely screwed up and misread instructions.
