This looks like an amazing deal!

Potentially £113.05 if you use Quidco!

A 1Ghz Android phone with an AMOLED WVGA 3.7" screen and 5MP camera that can record 720p for this price is amazing.

Will make a nice stocking filler

how does it compare to acer liquid metal?

how does it compare to acer liquid metal?

This has a slightly bigger screen (0.1 inch) and is AMOLED which means it looks better and saves battery.
It it also slimmer and in addition it has a much better processor, battery life and even has HDMI!

2.1

version of Android?

It ships with 2.1, but is officially upgradable to 2.2 froyo.
What is custom rom support like for this?
Gone for it, small upgrade from my Galaxy Ace

Thanks OP

No no no you have it wrong. The Stream has a 1Ghz processor while the metal has a 800 MHz processor.
Dont like touch screens, but bought, they are selling for well over 200.00 most places, nice one op

Clockspeed is not everything. 2nd gen Adreno 205 graphics core is proven 2-3 times faster than Adreno 200 in 1st gen Snapdragon. 2nd gen easily overclocked to ~1.5 GHz and more battery efficient (built using 45nm process).
Not come across this handset before...Looks a worthy upgrade for those with OSF's or lower end Galaxy's.

Anyone know if there is a CM7 port for it?
It says not in stock order on request, bet they dont come through with the stock
Is this any use guys?

Because it's an old phone, that was replaced by the liquid metal.

Expansys always bring in the stock if it's up on the website. It says it will be in stock in 3 - 5 days then dispatched.

What a bargain.

Not much developer support, still a good deal.
Locked bootloader i believe hence lack of Custom rom's. Looks like 2.2 is the highest this one will ever see so Froyo only.. Not a huge issue..gingerbread doesn't add a huge amount to the party...
Wife's after the Wildfire S would this be a better option? thanks

Specification wise YES this pummels the wildfire, but if design is key then I would have to recommend Wildfire.
So do i and ill never buy one again due to their lack of support they really are sh1te.

Voted hot on the price.
this would be hotter (for me) if this had better custom rom support, in fact any would do

android 2.1 is just to old for me, especially with ice cream sandwich coming one month later
Can I check, does this have Flash support, and can you install the latest android 2.3 gingerbread on it?

Also, I'm on 3, so will I be ok using my sim in this?

1. If you upgrade to Official 2.2 it comes pre-installed with flash.
2. No it's currently only 2.2
3. Yes, you can use any sim card as it's unlocked.
good deal might go for one

Thanks. I thought 3 were funny about you using non branded 3 phones though?

This does look nice. I currently have an LG Optimus One. Flash support would be great, but I'm suprised bearing in mind it's high cpu that you can't install the latest version.

Yeah htc are gay

Retarded post of the day.

A phone manufacturing company are gay? Shouldn't you be in bed by now? Oh I forgot it's half term.
Nice....
Looks suspiciously like a misprice, voted hot anyway in case it isn't. Nice find OP!
You think they will have a good resale value? i'm not sure, never heard of one before today. looks like a hot deal thou!

Yeah it comes boxed with all accessories. Handset only just means it's not bundled with a Sim Card.

The only advantage of the Liquid Metal is the OS (2.3), in all other aspects the Stream is better.
