Seems good what does it come with original box and accessories?

As far as I am aware it is micro usb chargers o2 dont supply with refurb devices, I assume Apple stipulate iphone boxes on refurbs, they would not want any carrier diluting their marketing...which a iphone box is part of.

A iphone refurb can be a unwanted return or a swap under warranty when a repair is needed, repair done then resell.

If you scroll down the page a review states "Great phone but no headphones with it"

Is it unlocked? All O2 phones used to be unlocked
Edit: Gold is out of stock for home delivery

Not sure? I'm sure a o2 customer could tell us.

Collect from store ?

yeah quite possibly.
Most of the reviews seem pretty positive once you ignore the stupid ones that got a colour they didn't want or not got a charger. Most suggest condition is new like or fairly good.
Rather get a brand new sealed one off eBay for just over £200.
I just got one, as new condition not a mark on it. Apple warranty for a year (checked online) and I maybe just lucky but mine is also unlocked.

Exactly, a bit of security in a o2 warranty
Brilliant, been looking for a decent deal via a reputable supplier on a first iPhone for my daughter. Just the job. Thanks!
Interested in this. How does it work? Do you buy then cancel the payg?
Will a software update make this phone sluggish
is anyone having trouble with the payment processing page?
Do you need to buy ten pound credit, can't seem to get round it!

I think if you have a o2 payg number you can make a account, log in and upgrade with no £10 top up, it used to allow that many years ago when I upgraded my o2 payg number.

payandgorewards.o2.co.uk

I think you choose what payg plan you want on your sim ? Not a actual top up

I could be wrong but thats what my order did.

Thanks. Anon1012^ I assume meant o2 payg ?

I wonder if they are reset on Apple system as refurb or not ? Thus a 3 sim activation might work ?

Refresh means Credit check on your file (not sure if it is worth £15)
Hi

Yes mine is PAYG and was unmarked and unlocked. Have tried an EE sim, 3 and Tesco all work fine in mine.

Honestly could not tell it apart from a new one.

Point is why pay £150 for a smelly second hand phone, when a brand new one is not much more.

Does anyone have experience with software updates with iPhone 5s? Most older phones struggle with recent software updates, is this phone likely to last a year without struggling? I don't use many apps, mostly phone, text, watsapp and Web browsing.

I use my 5s for the exact same things you do and have the latest iOS update and my phone has no issues at all.

It's not 2nd hand it's 'refurb', so somebody has given it a bit of a clean with a cloth, makes all the difference!
locked or not?!?!?!?!?!?!?! its a gamble then im on three
These refurb deals - unless they were in for refurb for the battery in the first place do you know if they ever put a new battery in for these? Just if not, chances are the battery will be down to lasting 5 mins, no?
